When you want an Indian restaurant you want this one. The food was so good I wish I had more stomachs for all of it. I recommend the chicken tikka masala. The food was out fast and warm. We did stop in on kind of a bad day because they were expanding and doing work in the other half of the restaurant, but it was looking good! The music was Taylor swift, but they changed it, thank goodness. The staff was attentive, and nice, and we go a very good lunch!

The food is so hearty. Everything tasted exquisite. We loved the weekend buffet that allowed us to sample everything, many dishes for the first time. I’m excited this was more southern Indian food, which I don’t normally have access to.

Nice Indian restaurant. They have a lot of good food options. They recently underwent a renovation and expanded their seating space. I usually get take out and sometimes it could be a little bit slow but overall consistent taste. They also have lunch buffet on select days with good options. Overall the staff is welcoming and willing to help.

Absolutely ridiculous food safety standards at this restaurant. I ordered a meal from this restaurant, and midway through I bite down on something hard only to find a SCREW in my food. This is absolutely horrifying. This place needs to be shut down pending a full food and safety review. Many people have prior left reviews citing concerns of food safety, and I totally understand why now. This is insane. Do NOT eat here.

The food’s amazing (try the mirchi bajji!), but the interior is small and needs some love and care. We were sitting in a booth which was cramped and the back kept moving every time I (or the person behind me) moved. The same person was hosting and serving and sometimes that got in the way of great service, but he was lovely nonetheless.
I highly recommend ordering takeout from here – the food’s wonderful! Keep in mind many of the meat dishes are bone-in.

Took the kids to Desi Ruchulu tonight and wow—everything was amazing! The buttered chicken (my son and I both got it) was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced—not too hot for younger palates but still packed with flavor. The chicken fried noodles were a huge hit: crispy veggies, tender chicken, and that perfect Indo-Chinese kick. My daughter devoured her chicken noodles and asked for seconds!
Service was warm and quick, portions generous, and the vibe is cozy—great for families. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Desi flavors in Ann Arbor!

The only thing better than the food is the service! Best dosas in the area. We have two small kiddos, and our server so kind and friendly to them. He even brought out little drawing boards for them.

This was so delicious and as a single person the serving portions was more than enough. Was a fantastic experience.

The garlic naan is the best I’ve had anywhere — soft, buttery, and full of flavor.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality Indian food and great service
