This place was literally heaven, the food was out of this world and made my jaw drop, the prices are a little steep for a bistro but they back it right up, they take me back to when I was in italy getting soup it was so good! I love this place and not to mention the waiters were super kind and under standing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to go here

The Nordstrom Cafe Bistro is such a great, hidden gem within the Nordstrom store at Fashion Place mall. I am unsure if this is how it always functions, but we ordered our food first then were presented with our receipt and could sit anywhere within the restaurant. Of course, we chose one of the tables by the window because it has such a beautiful view of the Wasatch mountains! Upon sitting down, you will be met by a server who will take your receipt from you, then bring you any drinks you ordered up at the counter.
The menu is fairly small, but I can tell you that every option is worth the price! We were asked if we wanted to start with the rolls and butter, and of course, I would never say no to that! The butter it was paired with almost reminded me of Boursin cheese; it had some chives mixed in and it had some type of cheese mixed in that made it so delicious! We also indulged in some early afternoon mimosas; I got the Lavender mimosa and my husband got a regular mimosa with orange juice. Always fun to have nice pre-shopping beverage! As far as food goes, my husband ordered the French Dip with the regular Bistro fries and the Kalamata Olive aioli on the side, and I ordered the Roasted Chicken & Goat Cheese Panini with the Truffle Fries and Garlic Aioli on the side.
My husband really enjoyed his French Dip, and especially if you are a fun of Kalamata olives, he would highly suggest trying that aioli! As someone who is hit or miss with enjoying Goat Cheese, I can’t recommend enough that you try this Roasted Chicken & Goat Cheese Panini. The sandwich had a balsamic glaze on it that paired so well and really brought the flavors all together with the goat cheese and the crisp bite of the arugula. Additionally, the truffle fries were not too overpowering with the truffle and the garlic aioli was perfect seasoned!
We all know that Nordstrom is wonderful for its shopping, but if you haven’t had the chance to try out the Cafe Bistro, stop in on your next shopping trip!

No one greeted us. The waitress had very little ability to provide service or engage. My coffee was cold and no offer to refill.
I used to love this spot but it seems that on this day at the time of my visit they were not interested in caring for customers.

I LOVE the cafe bistro at Nordstrom. The food is always fresh and delicious. We look forward to coming here anytime we make a trip to fashion place. Seriously, there’s zero reason to eat in the food court. Eat here! The salads with roasted chicken or steak are incredible. The burgers are excellent! Also, the kids meals are great! There’s roasted chicken with veggies and potatoes, salmon, Mac n cheese, grilled cheese, buttered noodles, and they come with fruit and a drink. The service is always top notch.

Love this place! Even with a basic menu, they have such good variety. It’s fresh, tasty, and high quality. We had the salmon salad and the chicken goats cheese panini, the fries that come with it is *chefs kiss* and the olive tapenade is the best!

Its not about service. This place is a joke. Nordstrom have raice the price way to much. I will never, never eat there again. I order HALF a turkey,avocado sandwich with salad,a very small cup of soup and a lemonade. My friend order also a HALF a turkey avocado sandwich with fries a cup of tomatoes basil soup and water. When I was ready to paid my bill was $60.20. I thought it was a mistake. I ask one of the server and the response was yes prices are way to high. So dont eat at that place. I am soooo disappointed at Nordstrom in general. A multimillionaire company.
