We always stop here for dinner on our way back to South Dakota. The enchilada dinner is amazing. Warm chips and salsa are so good. The Margarita was excellent. Lots of flavor. The atmosphere is inviting. Great staff. Price was affordable.

Good foods, fast service most of the time, and a friendly manager!
I like to order the steak California burrito ($17) but they have lots of other great options as well.
The Olé Flaming Cheese ($10) is a great appetizer too!
(You can also order food to go, they used to have online ordering but it seems that is down for maintenance right now so you’d just have to call in your order)

Food is good quality. Had quick good service. Prices were about what I expect though I prefer them lower. A few little hints of flavor I didn’t love.
It’s a good Mexican restaurant and I’d come again. There are some I like more. I could almost give it 4.5 stars.

Of I could give the service a minus stars I would. We had christina wait on us. The food took 45 minutes which wasnt normal but ok. The part I was disgusted with was Ms Christina, she came by only once about 10 -15 min after we got our food and asked os everything ok and I said the food was cold and she literally didnt miss a step and kept walking and said Hmmm. She never came back to even give out bill we had to go ask for the bill I waited by the server entrance for 3-4 min agter she made eye contact and she still wouldn’t come help me the owner gentleman or I believe it is asked what I needed.we stated the service was horrible to him as we paid and he just shrugged his shoulders. We used to eat here every time I came to visit and my family aye there a lot but NO MORE. They may think one families business is nothing bit I assure you that mentality will make many families go else where even in a small town.

Plaza Morena Campestre Grill is a very nice Tex-Mex Mexican American Restaurant located within the Northbridge Mall in Albert Lea, Minnesota. I ordered the Carnitas Enchiladas and they did not disappoint; most excellent. Drinks were great and service was very good. Don’t be put off by the mall presence; this place deserves an honest try. Very much recommended.

Great atmosphere, music, and fast service. The food was amazing, and they accommodated our special food request of grilled Nopales. Very tasty daiquiri. We’re definitely going back for more!
