I have been coming to this establishment since fall of 2024. Surprised as another stated that this establishment only had a 3.7 rating?!
But finally I have time to write a review and post a few pictures.
I can’t say enough good about this place. The food is incredible. The staff does a great job here.
The inside is always clean and welcoming.
The food comes up fast fresh and hot. They have a nice little bar area if you just want to have a margarita and have some chips and salsa. There is plenty of room for seating and they can handle large groups of people efficiently. The other night I saw a part of 13 come in and they were attended to right away.
I have had their burritos and they are amazing. They also are huge! Very good.
Chips and salsa are always good. Honestly I seldom get the chips and salsa because I want to save room for the food I ordered!
If you ever come to the Wisconsin Dells area…they are located right on the main road
Coming into the Dells, or as you are leaving. The establishment is right next to BMO bank which is on the corner. There is limited parking in the front on the street. But there is parking also on the side streets on either end of the block and there are is parking directly across the street.
There are times they will have live music and dancing. They get in some very talented groups of musicians.
The good is absolutely fantastic.

I’m surprised by other low star reviews— this is by far our favorite Mexican restaurant we’ve ever visited. We stop everytime we’re in the Dells! Great service, excellent food! We order the chicken, steak and shrimp mixed fajitas and they’re seasoned and cooked perfectly! Quick service, too!

My husband and i had a great experience here for his birthday. We were welcomed and seated as soon as we came in the restaurant. The staff was amazing and treated us like family. And made sure that my husband celebrated his birthday with all the trimmings. The food was amazing. Portions was huge and very flavorful. Even the owner came over to have a birthday shot and took pictures with my husband. This will be a must stop everytime we are in the dells. Thanks so much for everything to the staff at El Asador.

I came here with my family, it was our first time, we were just visiting the dells, we had an awesome server. He had awesome service, however we waited a really long time for our food. Two other tables were seated and got their food while we were still waiting. The food was good, and the server was awesome! But that wait for the food just was not worth it.

Asador is one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. The service was very slow and very inattentive. Food was very slow coming out, and then it wasn’t right when it did come out. Told the server of the issue, and he just said sorry. Didn’t offer to fix the issues. They brought out a very small complimentary order chips and salsa. I am very disappointed in the level of service and food quality, especially for the cost. I would save your money and time and eat somewhere else.
