Brick Street Burrito brings the taste of San Diego to Indiana. During their time at Point Loma Nazarene University, Evan and Christina Costas, got hooked on California burritos and upon moving back to the Midwest, they were determined to bring this concept with them. A “real” California burrito replaces the traditional rice and beans with French fries. BSB features three homemade salsas. Pour one of our three salsas (roja, caliente, verde) on each bite, in true San Diego fashion. Don’t love burritos? We also offer a variety of burrito and bowl options, tacos, quesadillas and fresh chips and guac. Canned beer and wine are available for carryout so be sure to grab a few beverages on your way down to the park. Whether it’s dine-in, carryout,

We order from here at least once a week and have always had amazing food.
On 2/13 we ordered the classic burrito and a surf n turf burrito. As we are eating my son pulls a long hair from his and then I bite into a piece of what I hope was hard fat. We both immediately through the burritos n the trash. After this we won’t be back.

Burrito was pretty good. Had the California. Came here because i looked at a post from 7months ago and said the burrito was 8.95 which I thought was a good value. Went in today and the smaller of the two burritos was over $11 which I don’t find nearly the value in. If given the opportunity I would rename my California burrito to a California steak wrap as very few Mexican seasonings/flavors came through while eating it. Pretty good.

Wow. I mean the burritos are always great tasting but I had not realized they got so small. For $12 too. Gotta spend $3 extra if you want their OG size, or at least close to it. Disappointing but still tasted great and they are least a little fat..

This place had really good food. I had the surf and turf burrito and my wife had the Cali chicken burrito. My only complaint was that the tables and countertops were not very clean and sticky.

Perhaps the most worthwhile California style burrito I’ve had in the greater Valpo area. Ingredients and sound execution make for one heck of a burrito – I’ve tried nearly all of them, and never been disappointed, it’s a guilty pleasure whenever I’m in town. Staff is unceasingly amiable and the tables and seating are regularly well cleaned. Perfect level of casual eatery where the focus is absolutely on the food.

You are paying for a premium though – expect to fork over near double what you’d get at a normal Mexican place for a similar portion. With the quality of food you get, I’m okay with that, but it can get awfully expensive if you’re treating someone for what is really just elevated street style cuisine. If it were more affordable I’d give it a perfect score; probably a good thing though, or I’d come here all the time.

My fiancée and I visited for the first time last night and the experience was lovely. The staff was kind/attentive and we had virtually no wait time for our food to come out. My California Chicken burrito was amazing, though I do wish I had asked for a spicier salsa (the mild was very tame). Otherwise it was a lovely experience and I think this location may become a spot we visit often.

UPDATED: It has been a while since I have had a burrito from Brick street so I figured I would update my review. I got the surf n turf again but made some changes no chipotle add sour cream
( .50 charge). Unfortunately they did not add the sour cream so the burrito was extremely dry. The fries were again really greasy and mushy I had to take them off. I also tried the chips n queso . There is no way that is house made queso! even with the large glob of Pico it still lacked flavor. I changed the rating.

I tried the surf n turf burrito. The steak and shrimp are amazing ! It does have a little spice to it which I like and tons of flavor. They are generous with the meat . The only downfall was the fries are not that good and made the burrito greasy. Otherwise it’s pretty darn good !

I get the surf and turf burrito when I come here. Came here twice and dined in. It was yummy. Only downside is the portions are a bit small. One of my favorite places to go now.

Have gone here quite a few times. I like half of the Burrito of the Month that they have came out with, some are absolutely stellar. My go to is the Surf and Turf, extra crispy fries and extra chipotle aoli with a side of elote. 11/10 every time
