Rudest Starbucks ever!!!
Some of the staff is extremely rude.
Also, they dont even prepare the drinks correctly, they don’t taste right, like the other Starbucks.
I usually try to avoid this Starbucks and go to the one up the street which has better customer service and better drinks.

Sooo, I just wanted to start this review by saying thank you! Backstory, I’m the manager over at Ashley Furniture here in Edwardsville. Im a regular at the local Starbucks on Troy Ave because it’sclosest to where I work, and I truly love the staff over there, but they were out of Oatmilk today, so I ventured over to 157 and centergrove! Not only was my coffee made EXACTLY how I love it, but the customer service was hands down the best I’ve had in a long time. Whoever was working drive thru at 4:30 pm 10/19/25, you’re truly an amazing soul, and you need to know that! Not only were you extremely empathetic in such a simple interaction, but you went the extra mile! You even offered to take my old coffee off my hands so I had room for my 2 new ones. Please keep being you! Again, I can’t thank you enough for making my day!! You’re great!

I used to really like this starbucks, but in the past few months it seems like everytime I go in they have to locate my order. I get it if it were busy, but when this happens it usually isn’t. For example, today I went in and it said my order was done so I got my drink, but my food was not on the table. I waited a few minutes to say something and it was behind the table, even thought it said my order was ready. A few other times, my food will not even be made yet or my drink will be on the drive thru counter(that is located behind the cashier, so I have to ask them to locate it.) It feels like this is an ongoing issue and I get this is small, but it can just feel annoying especially if they have my food leaving out and then it gets cold. This starbucks is located right by my school on the way home, but this issue has made me consider just going out of the way to go to the other one in town.

This location was good for awhile after they opened and actually became my favorite one nearby. But recently the staff has become very unfriendly and rude. I enjoy the friendliness and upbeat personalities of Starbucks employees so it is disappointing to not receive that same experience at this location. I will say hello and thank you while standing right in front of them and they wont even acknowledge my presence.

This has to be the worst one in Glen/Ed area. The line is always long, they never have anything and the servers do not know how to do anything past the basic. You can tell them exactly what you want and they’ll still get it wrong and fix it but it will be worst than the last one. I live closer to this one but will drive to Troy Rd location because they’re friendly, always get it right and remember their customers. I will never order here again.

This Starbucks service is fast and the drinks are correct and hot or cold depending on drink preference of course. The table I sat at was dirty just like all the others full of crumbs and drink rings. They could use a little more house keeping. Would I go back to this establishment? Yes and I would also recommend this place. However please clean the tables more often.

Update: Tried the new Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea latte and I am OBSESSED! It literally tastes like fall in a cup.
This is my absolute favorite Starbucks location! They are very on top of their game here and really keep the drive-thru moving quickly and I appreciate that. They are also never out of anything for my order and the employees are kind and courteous.
