This place use to be fire (very good) tri tip sandwich with excellent sugary taste that flooded your taste buds with incredible meat. Just had after a year mabey and no taste the sugary sauce or marinade was gone and lower quality meat. This place came out strong a game changer and now higher priced for less quality portion which is like everything lately. I don’t usually do reviews sorry for this but its got to be said its honestly super disappointing. All to make more $$

I had the pulled pork on rice ! The wife had the chicken quarter and we added the armadillo eggs. Probably the best we had was the armadillo eggs. The pulled pork just lacked flavor and certainly wasn’t smokey flavors to it ! Witch for me was disappointing, i mean the whole point of eating BBQ is for the smokey flavor of the meat. Chicken had a little more flavor than the pork but not by much ! Way to much rice and it was just rice. For $36.00 you would hope to have some good flavor. My wife seemed to enjoy more than i did.

I ate here once. Cockroaches big enough to bring down a tom cat. Didn’t even finish my meal. Just headed out. Not sure how this place stays in business. Maybe they have something on the side?

BBQ in center of Shady Cove. Fast and plenty is the name of the game. Big portions bursting with big flavors. Pork, Chicken or beef represented in a few different ways including sandwiches, platers and bento style. Several sides that are heavy to the gut but not shabby. the tri tip sandwich seems to be the game winner amongst local fans. Quick and easy when in the area.

Loaded baked beans are a MUST try! So GOOD! The portions are huge, a small will feed 2 people! We had a tri tip sandwich and a bento, also tried the jalapeño poppers. Definitely a good spot for BBQ. Friendly staff!
