Karibuni Restaurant on Pinel Island is a great spot! We kayaked over from Cul de Sac (about 15 minutes) and were lucky enough to see stingrays and turtles along the way—a perfect little pre-adventure. The beach itself is clean, serene, and has those iconic, stunning St. Martin vibes.
We rented two chairs from Karibuni for €30, which was very convenient. Later, we had lunch reservations at the restaurant, which was a welcome break from the sun. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a wonderful day combining beach relaxation, wildlife spotting, and great dining. Highly recommend!

Book chairs in advance! Great place to spend a day on the beach, especially when it’s windy and rainy on the big island. Perfect beach for little kids, especially in the area served by this restaurant. Excellent service! The restaurant has a unique Caribbean atmosphere with beautiful views. Great food choices and a kids’ menu with ice cream. Fresh lobster of your choice. Highly recommend!

You can only get here by boat but it’s totally worth it if you have the time to spend the day there. There’s a ferry that runs every 30 minutes and the round trip price ($12) is very reasonable. Definitely get any of the fresh fish offerings. We got both the catch of the day and the tartare of the day. Everything was incredible, so fresh and perfectly cooked. The service was really good and the atmosphere was very rustic and charming. Highly recommend!

This review is for both beach service and the restaurant/bar. It was our 25th anniversary in early July and we sought an amazing beach, service, food and drinks. We have to give amazing credit and thanks to Sam for taking care of us over 10 days setting us up in our secluded spot with chairs and umbrellas, positioned a bar table in the water just for us, and attentive service. The restaurant food and drinks are fantastic for lunch and warm afternoons. Special thanks to Sam and staff who got us to and from the docks the private hotel docks in Cul De Sac despite the Sargassum presenting challenging conditions. But the beach was clean and clear! Thank you Sam and Karibuni staff!

Lunch was fabulous with regards to quality of food and taste.
We got the cod fritters, tuna starter and the triggerfish with basil risotto and the whole red snapper.
We truly enjoyed the flavors present in each dish. Additionally, the cheesecake was undoubtedly the best we had. It was light and airy very fluffy cream cheese and the crust excellent.
Our only issue was with service at the beach which was a bit slow at first but we are aware it was a busy weekend for them.
Absolutely would recommend and dine again here.

The food was incredible. We got the pork egg rolls, mahi mahi (I think), and ribs with our many pina coladas and beers 🙂 I would ding them for incredible long wait times for service on the beach, but I think that might’ve just been our waiter as other people seemed to get more attention.

Paradise on earth. The best luxury hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Excellent service and owners. Jules and his sister were phenomenal felt like family. Housekeeping (I can’t think of her name right now) but she was so sweet and kind. The breakfast and view from my room were fantastic. The room was gorgeous, clean, and peaceful. Perfect location! I didn’t want to leave. I’m Already planning my next trip back! If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Also, forgot to mention the restaurant is phenomenal as well. Best lobster on the island. If you’re a guest at the hotel you get private boat transportation to the restaurant, which was really good.

We spent a day on îlet Pinel and this place was a hidden paradise. We accessed the island by kayak for free. The service on the beach was 10/10. The drinks were strong and tasty. The food at the restaurant was simply excellent. The view in itself was the very best part. I recommand without hesiation.
