We didn’t have any food, but had some drinks while we waited for our gator tour. As soon as we walked in, other patrons invited us in and asked where we were from and made us feel comfortable. Some of us played darts and pool and just relaxed. After being on Canal and Bourbon for a couple of days, this quieter atmosphere felt great! The prices werw phenomenal!

It is a Hidden Gem. We were camping at the State Park no just happened to start this little boy. We were hungry and stopped in but I didn’t have food anymore. But they did have a few oysters and they were kind enough to go back and struck them for us. The owner what’s a very nice in our bartender Raven was awesome. I highly recommend to locals. Scared to say good for tourist because I don’t want it to get ruined. We will definitely be back again and again!!

I heard that a new cook took over the kitchen back in March, and she’s the kindest, most dedicated chef. I believe her name is Ms Debbie. Anyway, my family and I got off our swamp tour and came for the food, stayed for the pool table, vibes, friendly locals, and $1.50 beers! This place is great. Go support the locals and eat at Mona Lisa’s.

We arrived during their annual Christmas party and was made to feel right at home. We were welcomed like old friends and had some of the best food we’ve had in NOLA. Thanks Tony and crew! You made 2 strangers from Colorado feel like home during the holidays!

We came to Westwigo for a cheer competition. We ended up at the coolest fish market and The Lisa Mona bar. Such a cute, eclectic bar with ALL the local flair! The bartender and owner were super friendly and the patrons so welcoming! We will definitely come back.

After a swamp tour, we stopped by Mona Lisa Lounge for a drink. Met the owner and chatted with a bunch of lovely locals. They were all super nice and inviting. The pool table is also in excellent shape! It’s a must stop if ever in the area.

This is not a fancy place but the people working and the patrons are the best kind of Americans, good and hard working.
My wife and I came in here for crawdads, they were all out so we settled on a dozen oysters and several Modelo beers. The beer prices were great, the grilled oysters were a bit pricey but the cook made up for it by giving is 2 complementary shrimp gumbo dishes, they were very tasty….
We’ll be back!!!!

Love the place. Nice atmosphere and good foods and drinks. Mike is a good cook. The food was great. I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful bartender, Masha. She had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. Service was awesome. Will be back definitely!

3.5 stars. cool little rundown dive bar outside of where the swamp tours are located. Friendly bartender and patrons and cheap drinks with friendly pours. Highly recommended if you want a drink before or after the hours or to pick up a few beers for the tour itself. Alligator pic is from tour boat not bar!
