Been to both their elmhurst and flushing locations. But comparing both of them, the one in flushing seems more nostalgic. Their pho is very flavorful and has a lot of toppings to go along with it. It’s not too busy and you get seated down almost immediately. The wait time for our food takes at most 5 to 10 minutes to arrive. Highly recommend if you want a taste of authentic pho.

VERY generous portions given: shareable between 2-3 people.
Food is flavorful and filling, #18 my go-to meal. Atmosphere is calm but feels very dense in a way. The service… service is mediocre, not so good but not so bad either. One time I went had a 45 minute wait time with my friend and waiter made sure we were OK, did seem a bit hostile though with how he gave off a little bit of a “get out” tone towards me and my friend which was reasonable because it was sort of an inconvenience for them and I. This place is a must try for people visiting Flushing, Queens NY.

The food was great, the soup tasted a bit different this time I went but still great. The waiter had not consulted with me about there being a $15 minimum for card payments. They “threw” the check at my table saying that I was a dollar short because my total was $14. I ended up letting them charge me an extra dollar, I still chose to tip but I probably shouldn’t have. The service was honestly the most mediocre and bare minimum thing that anyone could’ve done. They didn’t even say thank you nor did they ask if I wanted a receipt. I am very disappointed, maybe since I am young they don’t take me seriously but the way they acted was extremely unprofessional. I have doubts if I want to come back or not.

Pho Bang has been around for as long as I can remember, and coming back always feels a little nostalgic. I’ve been eating here since I was a kid, and the taste of their pho still hits the same way it did back then. The broth has that familiar depth and warmth I grew up with, and it’s the kind of flavor that immediately brings you back.

The meat portions here are always generous—slices of beef that are tender, plentiful, and actually feel worth what you’re paying for. They never skimp, and it makes the bowl feel hearty and satisfying every single time. The food comes out quickly too, so you don’t have to wait long before you’re sitting in front of a big, comforting bowl of pho.

It’s one of those spots that feels like it’s part of your childhood and adulthood at the same time, and the consistency is a big part of why I keep coming back.

I have been coming to this specific Pho Bang restaurant since I was a baby. I ordered #1 on the menu (an XL size pho bowl), but noticed some differences after eating here for several decades. The soup is a lot less flavorful, which was disappointing. On top of that, every piece of meat was very hard to chew in my soup which makes me believe that the meat we ate was probably very old. Perhaps the kitchen gained a new chef who made soup differently than what I had remembered eating as a child.

This specific pho bang location does take credit card, but I believe there is a 3% surcharge so we paid cash instead. I would likely not come back again due to the drastic change in my pho, which was just average pho in my opinion and not the great pho I once grew up eating.

Been an og spot for decades and always came here growing up!! Can’t beat the prices compared to Manhattan, and their pho has always been great! Highly recommend their spring rolls and grilled bbq chicken over rice as well. (pictured is there grilled porkchop)

I haven’t been to this restaurant for a while so i was excited to come back. But unfortunately i was disappointed, their spring rolls were very greasy, the meat in the spring rolls tasted sour as if it was about to go bad.I ordered the beef pho and it had less flavor compared to the last time i had it. It didn’t taste the same. To top it off their service wasn’t as pleasant and the person in front demanded me to tip them. I don’t mind giving tips but they barely interacted and the food was just terrible. Overall just a disappointing experience and will not come back again.

Food: Solid, the Large Pho bowls are pretty big, summer rolls a bit on the smaller side. Price wise it’s fair, a couple bucks over standard (Chinatown Pho), Pho was 15.5 and 2pc summer roll 9$

Hygiene: Yeah… it’s what you expect, not too clean but it’ll do.

Very fast on food delivery and service was good

My family has been getting food from Pho Bang for years! The food is authentic, and some of the flavor profiles are difficult to find in other Vietnamese restaurants that may have fusion or other influences. For instance, the pho and bun bo hue have a distinct and strong broth. I really enjoy their grilled chicken with rice, grilled pork chop over rice, and vermicelli with spring rolls and pork. Their spring rolls are a must-try!! They have a unique, crispy rice paper shell filled with savory meat filling. DELICIOUS – definitely visit if you’re looking for tasty, bang-for-your-buck Viet food! Plus, the portions are pretty big!

One of the oldest restaurant in Flushing. The place is run by elderly Chinese, so their English and service is mediocre. The pho noodle soup is pretty good, soup base quite nice. Also had the Vietnamese bread roll and it was packed with veg – good value for $5.50.

Vietnamese coffee was also pretty good but they have the condensed milk already in the cup so you cannot adjust the sweetness (and it’s super sweet!).
