We offer a larger menu with build your own omelets for breakfast as well as your usual menu items. For lunch we offer our own blended specialty burgers and a full line of sandwiches, soups, and dinner selections. We have a large variety of home made pies also have soft serve ice cream available. We are open 7 days a week. Monday – Friday 7am – 2pm, Saturday & Sunday 8am – 2pm. Our customers become part of our family. I always get biscuits and gravy, two eggs over medium, and bacon when I try a new breakfast place. The price was fair and the food was excellent. I can’t wait to come back and check out lunch. Very clean and great service. My food came out really fast and hot.

I always look for local places to eat, and I found this diner. We ate there 1 morning and stopped the next day as we headed out of town. I had the Redneck hash browns both mornings, and my husband had the ham omelet. The couple with us both got the Mexican omelet and really enjoyed it. Actually, 1 of them ate it both mornings! The ladies were nice, food hot, and we felt good supporting a local place. When we walked in on day 2, they all greeted us with a smile, and we felt like family. Highly recommend them.

We lived in Rapid City for 13 years and during our 8 years of full-time RVing since then we come back each summer. I can’t believe that we never taken the time to eat here before. The service was top notch, coffee was good and always topped off. Everything that we ordered was very good. Place was clean. I would recommend and will go again. Only critics and it’s a personal issue: I wish all businesses would stop using those auto scent sprayers in the bathrooms. I’ve been directly sprayed by them before and that is dangerous for the estimated 1/3 or more of the population that deals with chemical sensitivity. Their sprayer is pointing directly at you when you are doing your business. I would also encourage the wonderfully, friendly owner to dial back the cologne. It’s kind of strong. But he’s so so nice!

A cute lil’ diner with that small town feel. Service was excellent, very friendly and prompt. The food and coffee were hot and fresh. I tried the Red Neck Hash, very tasty.
They don’t have gluten free options, but the menu items are easy to customize and the friendly staff will work with you to find a solution.

Spent 8 days visiting the Rapid City, and surrounding areas… went out for breakfast everyday. The Fairmount Diner was (hands down) the best breakfast experience of my visit. A welcoming, comfortable vibe in a neighborhood diner setting. Good food and excellent service! What else do you want?

The atmosphere is a small town diner in a small city. The wait staff are friendly with everyone and you can tell that quite a large base of their customers are rather frequent to this fine establishment.
I ordered a side of french fries (as pictured below). My initial impression was in regards the price. I felt it was rather steep at $3 and hoped for rather large portions with this cost. My heart sank as they brought out the small plate and thousand island sauce I had requested. Tasting these fries, all prior sense of disappointment disappeared as I delighted with each savory bite. They were incredibly well seasoned. Texturely they were delightful little crispy on the outside and heavenly clouds on the inside. If all their menu is this exquisite, I will definitely be back to discover this joy for myself.

We were on a trip for Sturgis we have eaten all over since we have traveled over various states. We stopped in for breakfast and the food was great, the service was out of this world and the prices were right.
