This was my first time going to Spring Garden! This is a wonderful restaurant with a great menu of Chinese cuisine. Today I opted for wings and vegetable fried rice. I liked that the food was not oily and the wings were the right crisp! Ms. Nana was very pleasant with us, and the restaurant is nice, too. Can’t wait to return!

Store front Chinese restaurant with enough seating for lunch, but primarily a take-out restaurant. Old lunch stop – food is ready fairly quickly. There’s a few indoor tables and a small counter by the i Dow so you can look out at traffic while you eat. Also about a block north on the opposite side of Wisconsin, there’s a small pocket park with some small bistro sized tables and chairs if you want to get the food to go and catch some fresh air.
I ordered the kung pao chicken lunch special, which came with a mall spring roll. The rice and Jung pao filled large paper plate full. Rice choices were white, fried, brown ($1 extra). I appreciated the kung pao with savory but not overtly spicy sauce, plenty of chicken and a generous mix of o vegetables, nice pieces of zucchini, carrots, green pepper and mushrooms.
Good lunch! $15.45 including generic bottle of water.

I ordered food from here before, but today I was very disappointed. The chicken, veggies rice and sauce all tasted nasty. I ate as much as I could but threw a lot of it away. I should have just ordered chicken fil la so could have actually enjoyed my lunch. I won’t be ordering from this place again.

This is decent for your standard around the corner takeout. We liked the egg and spring rolls and were pleasantly surprised by the dumplings. The lo mein and hot and sour soup were decent though I’ll probably change it up next time. The only thing we didn’t like was the jade chicken as the sauce was too sweet for our liking.

Great tucked away spot for standard Chinese takeaway fare. Dining area for eat in is not superb and service is definitely geared more for takeout but the quality of the food was excellent.
