Why are the prices on the El Big Box meals $1.50 more than advertised? I’m guessing it has something to do with being in WA. Food today wasn’t even hot even though at 1445 and few customers, I had to wait for it. Del Taco use to be my go-to place for cheap Mexican type fast food. When they increased their drink prices so much my attendance has way dropped off. I’m not paying $3.69 for a drink when I can get same drink at the Chevron station for $1.49.

Reality looses its grip at this location. The product served rarely, if ever, matches the marketing hype surrounding it. Reminds me of a kid’s show where the challenge is to match look-a-like items or to determine which item is not like the other. The latter applies to Del Taco College Place.
In fact, your order will never look like the menu pic. Expect your order to be underportioned, underprepared, and overpriced.
Four The Del Tacos and two large drinks cost $18. What?! Adding insult to the already disappointing experience was the quality control. Ehh? None.
The portion sizes are public record so, come prepared for a value war if you’re dissatisfied. Or, do as I do. Photo and review. There are multiple other options for Mexican fare available 4 miles further east on WA 125 on the 9th St corridor in Walla Walla, or take Myra Rd north to Rose St from WA 125 to Mi Pueblito. Use maps to locate and compare your options. No need to settle. Bon Appétit!

BE CAREFUL! I was just about finished with my bean and cheese burrito when I bit into something flat and hard. I pulled the object out of my mouth and shockingly it was a sharp piece of plastic. I am absolutely horrified now and will not be going back.

One of the better fast food establishments. The ingredients are fresh. There are healthy options available as well. Reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. You can use their app for coupons and even apply the coupons for online orders during payment. A+

I wouldn’t stop again. We were debating between this and chipotle. They are right next door to eachother almost. Thought this might be faster and a bit cheaper. We had a four hour drive and wanted to get on the road. It wasn’t faster service, wasn’t cheaper and the food was mediocre at best. We are vegan and there were limited options. Don’t know if this is all del tacos or just this location.
