Gotta love a local hangout! Hole in the wall vibes with couple menus items that bring it all home. Hot sausage sandwich is the go to here and you wont regret it! We also had the gizzards and they were just as tasty

My husbands favorite (for YEARS) is the Italian Hot Sausage. It’s still as good as it’s always been! I had the breaded tenderloin with sausage gravy, which came with toast, two eggs & hash browns. Delicious!

I hadn’t been to the Norwood for at least a decade. Stopped in recently and was delighted to see it hadn’t changed much. A few updates in the furniture, a bit better lighting, but the essential nature of the place was the same. A solid neighborhood tavern that served a solid meal. The hot sausage sandwich was as good as I remembered (and I remembered it being very good).

On June 26th at 1 pm, I tried to call to order food. On the seventh try, they finally picked up, just to hang up on me. That should have been a warning, but I tried for an eighth time. This time, they answered and did not hang up, even though they sounded pissed off that I dared to call them.
I ordered the food, and they said it would take 15 minutes to cook. I got there within 10 minutes, and the food was already done. I did not check as the food was for my sister, so I took it home to her (less than a 5 minute drive). It sat on the heated seat in the sun, but it was still cold by the time I got it home. The moral of the story is that if it takes that many times for them to answer their food, chances are they will not have passable customer service or food.

I love this place because they are so good to sponsor charity events like Angels for Sam! For many years they have been the successful Finish Line location for this motorcycle ride and once again this year they did a fabulous job of hosting our event. Great food, cold drinks, friendly people!
