Established in 2014.
After 15 years managing corporate food and beverage operations for major accounts such as STAPLES Center, Dodgers Stadium, Hollywood Park, Angels Stadium, Wolfgang Puck Worldwide, Radisson Hotels and the USTA National Tennis Center, we quit our corporate jobs to spend more time together as a family. The intention was to rent a catering kitchen and do family dinners for the locals. To get the business going right away, we thought…BREAKFAST! We threw a few tables in and built a counter to eat at. 4 weeks in the word got out that people were diggin’ our breakfast and we ran out of food in 2 hours. Over the past 6 years we have expanded, adapted and curated our craft.

A great spot for breakfast. The Eggs Benedict and the steak were absolutely amazing! It’s a bit pricey for breakfast — I’d even say it feels more like a small restaurant — but it’s definitely worth it

We were turned away. We arrived at 1:20pm, with a posted closing time of 2:00. This is closer than I like to cut it, but I feel still reasonable.
I get it. I’m not the kind of guy to show up 5 minutes prior to close and demand the works. But if you close at 2, you close at 2. If you don’t, update your hours. Respect us, and we’ll respect you.
It’s a shame, because the interior looked nice, and I hoped to find a new breakfast staple. Maybe I’ll find my way back. But now I’m not confident.

In an area where you wouldn’t necessarily expect a great brunch place to be, there’s a great brunch place. I visited Main Kitchen Cafe with my son one Sunday morning and we had surprisingly good foot, tasty and beautifully presented. The place was busy but we didn’t have to wait too long for a table. The menu has good options for vegetarians in both the sweet and savory categories.
We both got versions of the Chilaquiles. My simpler-palated son got his with scrambled eggs and no sour cream. I asked for “chef’s choice” and they brought mine with eggs over easy. It was truly delicious and beautiful looking in the bowl they served it with.
The coffee was good enough.
They’ve even got Beyond Sausage as a side option so, again as a vegetarian, I felt well taken care of here. The food is nice and upscale and we’ll definitely come back to try more!

Got the Sunshine ranch burrito, tiramisu French toast & banana bread. It was all good! The only thing I didn’t like at all was the flavor of their sausage? in the burrito, it wasn’t good, but otherwise it was a nice chubby & tasty burrito. The French toast was yummy, nice thick pieces of bread with syrup, berries & toppings on the side. The banana bread was yummy too, nice big piece with good flavor. It’s a cute place with more than 10 tables inside, a few outside with nice inspirational artwork on the walls. Our waiter was really nice. Prices are fair for the bigger portions/quality. It’s located almost on the corner with street parking (don’t know if there’s parking in the back).

Food was great, avocado toast was actually very good (shout out to the chef). The downside of the whole experience is that the place is overpriced and for $40+ a person (not counting drinks), the waitress will try to gaslight you that there is no sugar in your latte, even though you can clearly taste it. If you enjoy the “gen-z stare” — very much recommend this place.

I came here to finally grab breakfast at this place because I seen it but never had the chance until this past Sunday. I was worried I wouldn’t find parking but since I came in the early morning, I got a parking spot in the small plaza it’s in. My wife decided to join me and the moment we walked inside a worker told me no outside drink. I was carrying a coconut water can so I just went to put it back in the car since it wasn’t that big of a deal but most places I go to doesn’t mind. We got seated inside where the dining room was and we thought it was a nice place. It’s not that big so you’re closer to other customer. I started off with their French Toast berries and banana and my wife went with their chicken chilaquiles. My wife asked what sauce does the chilaquiles uses and our waitress said they use both red and green sauce. The food came out quick and we started eating it. I thought the French toast was okay but I don’t think it was worth the price they were charging for it. My wife said she really like the chilaquiles more than the other place I took her yesterday. We had a good time dining here but I wouldn’t say I would come back here versus another place.

Breakfast joints are a dime a dozen. I mean, it’s not hard to be notch above Denny’s (sorry Denny’s). So the service makes or breaks the visit. I mean, does anyone really like cold eggs or coffee? I came in wanting to love the visit. I loved the art, the slow Saturday morning vibes and the family atmosphere. But the service was a struggle from the start. Cold coffee and an order of French toast that never came made the main plates seem lackluster. Same as the whole visit. Lots of great places for breakfast in LA. This is not one of them.

Excellent breakfast/brunch menu. I had the brunch burger, it knocked my socks off. Delicious hot sauce selection (Yellow Bird brand). Easy parking. Good service. Cute hodge podge collection of mugs for coffee.

Kept driving by, seeing this place and FINALLY stopped in to give it a try. So glad I did. Food was fantastic. Pancakes were light and fluffy, fruit on top was really fresh. Nancy, our server, was exceptional. Would go back again just for her.
Super quaint and clean on the inside, including bathrooms. Outside dining is available. Small parking lot is next to it and there is street parking.
Gave it 4 stars because it is a little pricey. Don’t get me wrong, it is worth it!! I just can’t frequent here as often as I would like to.

Wow! What an incredible brunch experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with top-notch quality in every bite. Jade and Noemy were fantastic—they made great recommendations, and I ended up enjoying the most flavorful Vegan Chilaquiles with vegan eggs, paired with fresh salsa verde and salsa roja.
This brunch spot is truly one of a kind, and we’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommended!
