Excellent place to get great homemade food. Love the daily specials, the soups are so yummy! I have just recently become a “regular” and I bring friends and family. Everyone has enjoyed their meals. The staff is so friendly. I just can’t say enough.

I initially came in for nostalgia reasons as I used to wash dishes here in 1980 back when Bill and his wife had just taken over ownership. It was a nice weekend job during high school and was crazy busy on Sunday when the churches let out.
Even though I came anonymously, I was treated like a local (I’m not local anymore). It’s just a wonderful family diner like Flo’s or Young & Broke.
The sign outside advertised Beef Stroganoff. I haven’t had that in a long time so ordered it. I loved it. The meat/mushroom sauce was on the side. I also had a choice of soup or salad but that would have been too much food.
Senior menu, kids menu, and I think they have Friday night specials.
If I’m ever in Huntley again, I’ll eat here and I recommend that you do, too.

An iconic small town diner, the Village Inn is a nice place to go for breakfast, lunch,or dinner. There’s a special every day. The all you can eat fried chicken is a local favorite. We love it. The senior menu is just enough food most nights. The staff is friendly. The service is good.

This place is super cute and right by downtown Huntley! Pros: the food was on point, portion sizes were solid, and everything was nice and clean! Cons: the service started off great, but it went downhill after another waiter took over our table. She seemed really bothered and was super short with us—barely interacted, which felt kinda off. We only got one polite smile when we went to settle the bill.

This place is a gem. Located in the adorable downtown Huntley. It is a blast from the past diner complete with malt machine, bar and stools. The staff are friendly and warm and treat you like family. The food was exceptional and the value is phenomenal. We had breakfast, of note are the potatoes and the biscuits/gravy. Food came out fast even though they were busy. Coffee was good too. Highly highly recommend

Oh my GOSH. Point blank, I have not had food this fresh and yummy in a VERY long time. I didn’t even realize I had cleared my plate until I went back for more. I’m still sitting here in the booth writing this…wow. Homemade, fresh, hot, fast and FRIENDLY!
