Sophisticated space and take on Mexican simple cuisine, although most dishes were initially served without the sides as described in the menu. Family run with pride , although some staff were not as knowledgeable about about the menu as they should be. Best mole in memory nonetheless , very friendly.

First-time customer. It was located in an easy spot to find. Parking is on the street or you can pay for parking. The service is fast and friendly! The margaritas are so delicious, and I love all the different options. We went with some chips and guacamole and some beans with nachos and quesdila. The food was delicious!!! Overall, it was a great experience and the people were so nice!

I’m looking for good tacos in Sacramento. Though the place is clean and service was fast & friendly, I didn’t find what I was looking for. Pastor didn’t taste like it. Carnitas were more like pot roast. Tortillas very healthy tasting, but I want the kind grilled in manteca. Green salsa was actually great. If you come, go on Tuesday or happy hour, and the prices will be a good deal. Margarita and paloma okay. Sports bar feel.

Their motto is, “to bring authentic Mexican food and modern contemporary style”. I would say, mission accomplished. A warm plate of tacos and a refreshing strawberry margarita is the perfect way to celebrate Taco Tuesday. The service was efficient and friendly. All orders are made at the register. There isn’t any table service available. The cashier made suggestions on tacos and our waters were refilled in a timely manner. This is a great taco Tuesday date spot. Enjoy the complimentary chips and salsa with a margarita while getting to know each other. Then order a couple $1.67 tacos. If the date is going well, play pool or throw axes at The Smart Axe. As passing travelers, I appreciated the warmth of the location and staff. The food was gentle and yet full flavor. We had the shrimp salad and a fish burrito which between two people was just the right amount of food. If in the area, one should stop by! Prices were reasonable, but parking can be challenging.

I don’t say this lightly because I’ve had some GOOD Mexican food. But this is honestly some of the best food I have ever had. I had the enchiladas and they were absolutely delicious. The chips and salsa are even amazing! I would go back here, definitely. Kind staff and super fast service. Food was SO GOOD.

Niece took me to Azul for lunch and it was a success. Tasty shrimp tacos and sopes and a huge portion of nachos. They were all very delicious. Guy at the counter was very friendly and had a great big smile. The people dinning there were very friendly as well. They have a huge wall of different liquor and I was very tempted. Maybe next time. Yes I would go again.
