We spent over $130 for dinner for two, and while the food itself was good, the overall experience fell short — especially at that price point.
Our service was mediocre and disengaged, which stood out because we noticed nearby tables receiving attentive, friendly service. Our server was very quiet and didn’t offer much explanation or interaction, which set the tone early on.
The biggest disappointment was dessert. We ordered a dessert to-go after seeing the same dessert being served beautifully at a nearby table. What we received for $14 was a paper bag containing factory-wrapped gelato in plastic, a very small cup of espresso, and an empty Styrofoam cup — no presentation and no explanation. It honestly looked like something pulled from a convenience store freezer rather than a restaurant dessert.
When I went back inside to ask about it, the server seemed confused as to why this was an issue. The manager explained that they don’t usually send desserts home and that keeping it in original packaging was to keep it cold. If that’s the case, this dessert should not be sold to-go at full price — or guests should be clearly told upfront that it will not resemble the plated version.
This was an expectation vs. delivery problem. For the amount spent, the service and the way this was handled should have been better. Unfortunately, it left a disappointing final impression.

Haven’t been in a while and still wondering why. This place is great!
We started with arancini which was mushroom fried rice balls in their delicious vodka sauce. Wow.
Next was Cesar salads with anchovies, of course.
Jess had gnocchi in vodka sauce with crispy chicken on top. She loved it. I had meat sauce (beef and pork) over ziti which was excellent. Also had a side of meatballs that were super soft and delicious. We love this place!! Great service and love the decor.

I felt welcomed from the start. The atmosphere is very comfortable. The Chicken Piccata was delicious!! I used a knife on my first bite and realized that it was pounded fork-tender – just like it’s supposed to be. The sauce was the perfect amount of lemon and butter. The salad was a little extra, but I don’t mind paying when it’s so fresh and tasty.
I’m really looking forward to coming back for the Margherita Pizza and Tiramisu. Alfredo proudly told me that he gets his cheese directly from Wisconsin. YUM!!

My boyfriend and I decided on Italian and found this place not far from home. We felt welcome right from the start. It’s a cozy place to enjoy absolutely delicious food. The owner came by to check on us, and every table! Love that. We will be coming back and destined to be regulars. Just a great place, a hidden gem.

As someone who is gluten-free and dairy-free, I am very careful about where I eat and communicate my dietary needs clearly. Unfortunately, my experience at Alfredo’s Paradiso was extremely disappointing. After waiting over an hour, I was served wheat pasta, which I cannot eat. I had assumed that it was gluten free because thats what I ordered, and ate the pasta but quickly realized the mistake.
When I raised concerns, it took another 20 minutes to receive the correct dish, by then, my family had already finished their meals. The waitress seemed rushed and inattentive to my needs, which made the situation more frustrating.
While the chef did apologize, we were still charged for the food despite the error and long delays. This experience made what should have been a pleasant family dinner unnecessarily stressful.

So good! Got the Rigatoni Bolognese and my dad got the lasagna! Soo yummy and very affordable! We also got the mozzarella caprese for an appetizer and it was delicious! Overall a hidden gem! The chef was super nice too and came to check on us after our meal and greeted us kindly!
