Absolutely a wonderful place to eat. The service was amazing as well as the food. It’s a diamond in the rough. It gives a small town feel which is amazing. All the employees seemed friendly and nice. Not a long wait time for the food and I can’t stress how good it was. 10 out of 10!

Great breakfast and great coffee and great service.nice inviting dining area with stone tabletop. Everything tasted great and was prepared well. Wasn’t a big fan of the sausage gravy though.

This unassuming diner just outside of Clio, MI is a true gem! We met my wife’s parents there after a day of antiquing and now I know why it is one of their favorite places. I liked it so much I insisted we go back just a few days later. I’m determined to try everything on the menu, as everything I’ve had so far has been prepared from scratch, served hot, and delicious. Through some creative ordering and sharing at the table I’ve tried their Fettuccini Alfredo, Beef Stroganoff, Fried Clam Strips, and Roast Beef Dinner. All were delicious! The staff is upbeat and on-the-ball, especially Rae, who makes dining at Andy’s an entertaining experience. She was quick to offer great suggestions and service with a smile. If you’re in the area looking for home-cooked comfort food, look no further than Andy’s Country Chef!

We had a fantastic experience here with my family! Our waitress was exceptional – friendly, attentive, and really connected with her customers. The food was top-notch too! We enjoyed a variety of dishes, including the BLT, perch, coney, and cheeseburger. We’ll definitely be back! I’d totally recommend!!

The best food to price ratio of any restaurant in Clio. I’ve never had any problems with the staff, and their food is always consistently good. You do not have to wait at all unless it’s peak rush hour, and the food comes out quickly. Quite a quaint place for the old white people to hang around lol

I call a few times a week and order takeout I always order very simple bacon & Toast. Today ordered my same order went in 20 minutes later to pick it up along with a doordash so they would both be ready. Never ever have I had a problem with timing with picking up my order and not being ready, you would think I would have to wait, maybe on the door dash order a little bit, but no. today I had to wait on my simple bacon and toast. The lady gives me my door dash order. They’re looking for my other order. The waitress says that she has it so she goes and prints off the ticket and then brings it over to me and says it’s going to be just a few minutes. I did not have a few minutes to wait as i called my order i. 20 mins. Prior so it was ready. So I kindly said, I’m good. I don’t need the order. And I walked out I had called the manager just to make it aware, you know that this shouldn’t have happened. Because there’s no reason for it. And clearly the waitress just printed off the ticket. So I know that it wasn’t under the warmer like the manager had told me because there was no other food under the warmer she could have said, Hey, it’s under the warmer we’re just bagging it up. But that wasn’t the case. So when I called up there, the manager had lied. Trying to tell me that I was, you know, basically wrong. And I just walked out, and they were bagging it up when that was not the case at all. They weren’t bagging it up. They were waiting for it to be made from the kitchen. Because the waitress didn’t send back the order long story short. I’m very understanding and I would have had no problem. Waiting, but lying because you didn’t put the order in is completely different than being honest like, Hey, we messed up, you know, your order will be right out. So that’s why I was so upset and I probably will not go back for a very long time.Because like I said, i’ve never had any issues with them. But this is a very dishones over some food that could have been solved. If you could have just been honest, but you want to try to cover up and make it look like it.It’s on me and i’m being impatient. When my food clearly was never even made.
Like I said overall food has always been great just today the service was not as great.

My family and I just went to Andy’s for the first time a couple weeks ago for the Fish Fry Friday. Since then we have been back several times. I can’t believe what we had been missing out on!! The fish was amazing! As was the country burger, chicken tenders and anything you want for breakfast. They even custom made a meat lover’s scramble for my 8 year old who was having some very specific cravings! Each and every waitress we have had was chatty, attentive and totally on point. Though, the star of the show is the ranch. Yes, the ranch. Homemade and completely on another level, I want to buy it by the gallon. Going to be a normal spot for us in the future, no doubt. Great food, fantastic service and and close to home.

Eat here! If you have, you know what I mean: but if you have not you are missing out on some deliciousness and warmth that is not easy to find. I ate fried pickles, a Detroit Coney and fries along with tasting the food my friends ordered and loved all of it. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a great meal in a welcoming, cozy diner.

Karen A good one
They just opened, I think she said two weeks ago. We both order breakfast, which was an excellent choice.
We had the Country Boy breakfast (I had poached eggs, bacon, well done taters and biscuits and gravy!) and he had the Country omelet with Rye bread.
Our Waitress was new and still learning the menu. Everything came out correctly and delicious.
We never received any refills on our drinks, but then again we never asked I suppose.
Looking forward to returning soon and trying something else ☺️

Food was well I think they need a new chef. Don’t know how the steak was cooked ate as much as we could being that it was 50something odd dollars. Granted we did try the surf and turf seafood and steak and ribs and shrimp. The fish came out extra greasy and more bread than meat. The steak I don’t know how they cooked it. The mash potatoes I sent back pronto. The ribs definitively not grilled.. salad was headed lettuce not the good spring mix stuff. Clams was alright.

Food for the price no. Everything bland and or undercooked or not cooked right.
