Absolutely love the atmosphere in summer on the deck! Definitely worth it just for the cozy and chill vibes. Would give 5 stars but had a couple disappointing dishes, one was the Cappalletti, it has all the ingredients as per menu description but the quality just seems worse than the rest of the food I’ve tried. It does hit the comfort food spot but too artificial tasting.
I absolutely love the BBQ short rib flatbread, super tasty and just a well rounded dish. The spinach dip is tasty too and portions are good.
Love their non-alcoholic cocktails and the staff is friendly .

Today we had a delicious lunch at The Argyle Street Grill in Caledonia. Excellent food and fast, friendly service. Kevin the owner was a delight as was Charleigh our server. Lots of delicious menu option as well. What a treat!

After a day at the beach, we decided to try this spot for a roast beef dip dinner, and it turned out to be a great choice—no reservation needed on the busy Saturday evening of the August long weekend. The service was prompt and attentive, which added to the experience.
The roast beef dip did not disappoint. One standout feature of the sandwich was the crispy onions, which I really enjoyed. The au jus was flavourful and had a thicker consistency that clung to the sandwich, unlike the watery versions I’ve encountered elsewhere. This made dipping my fries in it a real treat.
That said, I did have one critique: the fries were clearly frozen. While they were cooked to a nice golden brown and served hot, they didn’t have the fresh taste I was hoping for. It’s a small detail, but it detracted a bit from the overall experience.

The food here is top tier – perhaps the best outing in town. The other day, looking to have a lighter meal, the staff went out of their way to make a tasty but calorie-light(er) dinner entree – should also mention they have THE BEST cauliflower hot wings on planet earth… a must have if you end up there on game night.

decided to try The Argyle St. Grill based on several local recommendations. Even as we were walking in, a customer suggested the fish and chips, which she said was her favorite. The restaurant itself was clean, and the atmosphere was inviting.
We started with the calamari, which is a go-to appetizer for us, but this time it didn’t hit the mark. It was too soft and could have used more time frying for a crispier texture. The dips provided didn’t really pair well with the dish either.
For my main course, I had the Muskoka Smash, which was good overall, though we asked for crispy fries with both dishes, and one order came out softer than expected, which was a bit disappointing. The service was friendly, but as the restaurant got busier, the wait time increased noticeably.
Overall, it was a nice visit, but I’d suggest paying more attention to customer preferences when preparing dishes and perhaps having more staff on hand during peak hours to maintain quicker service.

Went for dinner with a friend, I got the smash burger with fries & gravy on the side. It was delicious! We also got the cheesecake 4 ways for dessert which was also fantastic.

Our server was amazing so she gets 5 stars But when my daughter saw her smash burger was raw (and the kitchen were prompt in saying it was raw). We were expecting a free meal. Which in other restaurants it’s always the case. The took 50% off my daughters meal. If she didn’t notice that it was raw and ate the whole thing who knows what would happen
