I was hungry and checked restaurants on google map and found this place that was top rated.
Went in and it was packed so I figured just order to go, the nice lady asked if I wanted to wait for a table and i’m like uh no thanks.
Anyways while I was waiting for my food a table opened up and she asked again so I’m like ok sounds good.
The place is nicely decorated and feels like home. A nice place that reminds me of American values of old.
I got the chicken fried steak with hashbrowns. Nice and hot, crispy chicken with gravy that was easy to tear into and delicious. Some buttered toast that was good to eat with the eggs. The hashbrowns were light and crunchy.
A nice satisfying breakfast that I would recommend for people to try.
Great place, nice staff and great food. I will visit again next time if i’m craving comfort food.

I went here as backup for brunch after finding out the restaurant I wanted to go to was closed.
It was a very pleasant surprise at how delicious the food was. My son and husband ordered the waffles and I thought that was the best waffle I’ve ever had: it tasted like a funnel cake!

I just love this place. Its my favorite in town restaurant. Take a quick date night, have a long family dinner, stay and have great conversations with the owner or the employees who are all very friendly and courteous. I always highly recommend this local family owned business. Check them out! The fish n chips are good here btw!

Finally managed to come in while they were open and we’re not disappointed! The food came out piping hot, and the overall atmosphere was really homey, as if I was back home and asking my mom to cook me my favorite meal. The onion rings were fried excellent, and the fish and chips were great!

Awesome little local dinner, food is amazing and delicious. I suggest going on an empty stomach. You won’t be disappointed with their generous serving portions. Highly recommend stopping by here if traveling to or through Yelm.

Tasty food with good portion sizes, excellent service, lots of variety on the menu. Cute, quaint establishment—my only negative marks would be that it can feel a bit cramped when full and I’ll not sure how often they deep clean the place. The tables and seating, utensils and dinnerware are always clean, but the dining area in general could use a really deep, detailed clean. Otherwise, this spot is a great local eatery and I highly recommend it!

I had been out working since Saturday afternoon in the entire Thurston County area assisting power line crews with traffic control as they repaired the massive amount of outages in the region. We were waiting for our next job so I went for dinner in Yelm . I found the diner and gave it a try. Destiny my server was amazing, friendly and welcoming. The owner forgive me I forgot his name was also there. I heard him expressing his Christian Faith and was touched. A small town , small diner with a small town feeling and a welcoming spiritual presence. I was truly blessed. Oh, did I mention the food was over the top delicious. One of the best 5 star experiences I’ve had.

The food was excellent. My husband had Chicken fried steak, and it literally melted in your mouth it was so tender. I had the fried shrimp and onion rings absolutely delicious, not to greasy just perfectly cooked. The service was phenomenal. She was very attentive and quick returning with the items requested. My overall experience was terrific. Do not pass the little gem up. Well worth your while.
