Small local place. The dining area is very small with tight seating but workable Tavern is not open yet.The servic was good.Very attentive and accommodating
The food we were not impressed with. You do get very ample portions for a great price point .The home fries are just boiled potatoes hit on the grill quickly. No seasoning at all.Steak bomb omelet was served without salami because they were out but never mentioned .Steak was tough and again had no flavor.Coffee is served and the stainless pot left for you to have more….nice touch.
Expect a wait to be seated because as mentioned, dining area is small.
Plenty of parking on site

Nice place very hometown atmosphere, food was great, reasonable portions good prices just getting opened up my wife and I were there at their soft opening. They are working their way toward having lunch and dinner too. I believe they have a little bar in there listed as Jackie’s Tavern and restaurant so the hopefully everything progresses forward for them great place.

Super cute little diner! Everyone was so kind and you could definitely tell they love working together. The food was amazing and the pastries looked incredible! Highly recommend if you’re passing through the area. I had my toddler with me and they were all so sweet to him and every other child in the place. Perfect family sit down diner!

Great atmosphere two rooms – counter selling fresh baked goods. Friendly down to earth staff. Not rushed small but didn’t feel crowded. Great food.
NO ONE likes to go out to eat with me. I am never happy at restaurants-this is worth the stop.

Just had a really good lunch at Jackie’s. The fried fish and scallops were done just right and not one bit greasy. The cole slaw and potato salad were home made and very tasty, but not overly sour or salty. Ample portions of everything at a reasonable price.

Been here twice now. Both times the waitresses have been rude. The owner sat in the corner listening loudly to videos with the B word being yelled out over and over. I was with my young son, mind you. Everything was burned. The owner was cleaning his ears with his fingers and asking the waitresses if everyone ate everything on their plates, and if not why. Seems insecure about his food. The utensils were caked in grease. I had to use my napkin to clean the grime off of it. Very cramped, uncomfortable dining area. No one seemed to put thought into the aesthetics of the place. The cups are like those old school pizza hut pepsi plastic cups. A large portion of the tiny dining area is like a prep area or something? Overheard rude comments about customers from the owner. Food was bland and expensive for what you get IMO. I’m so disappointed. I was excited to have a nice new place in town to frequent.

First time checking this new breakfast joint out. They were still in their “soft opening” phase but the atmosphere here was great. Food came out quick. Had the Jackie’s Big Breakfast and it was a great deal for the money. Their POS system went down so it was cash only but definitely worth having to drive to an ATM for. Hope they succeed long into the future.

It’s a new attempt to get a restaurant to succeed in this building. Still needs work on the interior. Prep tables in the lounge/bar area although there was no service there it was on the way to the restroom. We had breakfast, hard to mess it up. Beans reminded me of the traditional pork n beans from a national brand. Se4vice was attentive until it was time to pay. Did some funky math on the bill. Wanted to charge more than the menue price the separately added drink including tax? When I questioned her she wasn’t happy about it. Probably won’t be going back anytime soon.

Was excited to see a newer breakfast place within driving distance of our camp! This place is really new, the sign is a little confusing as to what time they serve breakfast till etc, we arrived around 1pm and sign said breakfast till 11:30 I believe, but I had my wife go in and ask and they were still serving breakfast so that was good. We ordered and shared cinnamon buns and muffins as a “breakfast starter” they were really good, homemade i’m pretty sure. My wife and youngest are vegetarian, they got there usual omelets with veggies, they liked them, me and my other song got the big breakfast, it was good, we both liked it, I paid an extra 1.50 for the homemade sausage patties, Ive never seen that option before at another breakfast place, so figured I had to try it, it was ok, kinda like a hamburger shaped pattie, with some subtle spices, it didn’t blow me away or anything, it was solid and cool that’s its homemade but not sure if I would upgrade to that again. We all enjoyed it and we will go back next year when our camp site opens up !
