Stopped in for dinner. The restaurant is in a convenient location outside the overground station. It’s a fairly big space but inside it’s all open and a little noisy when full. Service was efficient. Unfortunately I didn’t find food the very interesting. The appetizers were nicely done – aloo chop and onion bhaji – but the mains were bland. The lamb rogon josh was tender but the taste was very muted. Perhaps this was because the dish was dry with no sauce. The aloo gobi likewise didn’t really have much flavor. I had hoped the paratha would be crisp and fluffy but it was not to be. Had to order a naan to finish the dinner. Can’t recommend and I won’t be back.

Lovely dinner for 2. Good prices and very tasty food. Portions aren’t big but filling. Lovely to have a rose and candle on the table. We got let in with no reservation. The atmosphere is lively but not quiet. Lamb dishes are great.

A lovely Indian restaurant just next to the park. The stuff are very friendly, welcoming, and service is fast and professional. The food is good, delicious and well made. Prices are fair. Location is great, will recommend to have little walk at the park after the meal. I like the fact the owner is walking around and paying attention to the customers and providing nice service experience.
Enjoy 🙂

Out of the five restaurant options we had for Valentines, I’m overjoyed we picked Paradise! The staff were friendly and helpful, the service was impressively quick and , most importantly, the food was absolutely divine! Prices are extremely reasonable and the restaurant itself is comfortable and inviting. We’ll certainly be returning to try some of the specials and an ice cold kulfi !

We had a wonderful meal at paradise! The food was spectacular and the portions were great! The atmosphere was really nice with the little details taken care of. The service was absolutely impeccable. Everything was taken care of with speed and efficiency. All of the wait staff really took pride in their work.

The owner stopped by at the end of the meal to ensure that everything was good and wished us a happy new year. It truly was a wonderful meal and evening!

Hope to be back soon

I would’ve taken more photos if we didn’t just dive into this incredibly delicious meal. Wow!! What a good experience at the gates of Hampstead Heath! If you like Indian food, Paradise should be on top of the list when you come to London. You may even spot a celebrity, like we did, dining next to you.

Hubby and I came here for dinner just the other day. We were lucky to get a spot outside; we didn’t make a reservation, but I would recommend making one as the place was packed.

The service was quick, and helpful. Our server did help us with portion size; we would have definitely over ordered otherwise.

We ordered the arctic murg, shah jahan biryani, paneer makkhani, and the garlic naan. Our favorite was the biryani and the paneer. The arctic murg was a spicy version of the butter chicken. It was spicy and flavourful, but the chicken was a bit dry. The garlic naan here is thicker and more bread like then I prefer, I like my naan chewier. The biryani was super tasty and came with a side of vegetable curry. I’m usually not a big fan of lamb, but they did a good job with it, and it didn’t taste super gamey. The paneer was a nice contrast to the spicy bitter chicken we had.

After finishing our meal, we were offered fresh mint tea on the house! It was a lovely way to end the evening. We enjoyed this place and will likely be back.
