I have been a client here for a longtime. Things have changed. Today on September 8th 2025. Nobody at the cash register to take orders. They expect you to order from a tablet. No more interaction with the employees. That’s unacceptable. I walked in the restaurant around 1:30 pm. No good afternoon. No one to take my order. This company needs to turn things around.

So my order came to $48.00. I went to pay with a $50 bill. My change back was only $2.00. They said they can’t take a $50 bill. I understand not having change if my total was like $5.00. But my change back was supposed to be only $2.00. This doesn’t make sense, I purchased 4 meals. Im sure many other people’s totals come close to $50 as well when purchasinga few meals together. My payment shouldn’t be refused maybe the cashier doesn’t know how to make change.

Male worker, who appeared to be either a teenager or young adult in his 20s had strong body odor and it was noticeable as soon as you walk in the door. Every time he walked away from the counter the smell disappeared. It was not a food smell. It was body odor /armpits. This is not something we as customers should have to deal with.

WOW, horrible experience, place has changed completely. No one talks to you and you get cold coffee and cold oatmeal. place has taken a turn for the worse, and what is even more concerning is there is no Fresh Bread? Last time I checked it is Panera Bread? I saw them take a frozen dough put it in the oven and heat it up. Same with there soup? Why is is frozen?

Crazy—| don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like this needed to be said. I stopped by around 9pm, and the guy at the counter clearly didn’t want to be there. I was being polite, saying “thank you” and have a great night,” and it honestly felt like / was the employee. I’m new to this part of Long Island, and this interaction didn’t feel welcoming at all.
Even one of the other employees seemed to notice the attitude, which says something. I get that people have rough days, but some basic customer service and a little politeness go a long way. With a bit of coaching, maybe things could improve-but right now, not a great first impression.

After getting my order wrong while I was there the manager, Rene pulled me to the side because he said that I owed more money the cashier did it incorrectly. So I pay the difference got all the way home to find that the sandwich was absolutely not what I ordered. There’s nothing more frustrating than this. Do you think he would’ve checked the entire order since the cashier got the first part of the order incorrect? extremely frustrating I would never go back here. This is not the first I’ve had a problem here the one on 347 in Nesconset is the best one around

Ordered lunch through the Panera app for pick up. The ordered was processed very quickly and they got it correct. Walked it and picked it up right at the front pick up area. I got the chicken Caesar salad and my wife got the sandwich salad combo. The salad was a good size and the chicken was good. Would have liked more dressing than the two little cups provided but overall it was a good experience

Got the chipotle chicken avocado sandwich and went to go eat it and 95% of the avocado were black which made the sandwich inedible. Digesting I will never return to any Panera location after this visit

Jason the manager is truly the kindest person ever. I had ordered some soup after some dental surgery and my husband picked it up on the way home from work, only to find it was the wrong one. I called the store and he was so very respectful and kind and offered to fix it. I’ve never had better customer service. My husband went back and said he apologized to him again, and was a very nice guy. Thanks Jason! We need more people like you out in the hospitality business.
