I hadn’t visited in years and was looking forward to their lunch buffet. But it had gone away with Covid so now they have a multi plate mix instead. Tasty, but not as spiced as I would have liked.

Malal kofta was my favorite but we really enjoyed everything in vegetable platter for dinner. The garlic naan and peshwari naan we some of the best we’ve ever had. We had great service and will definitely be back!

Vegan entrees are listed clearly and there is a vegetarian section, and a nice veg entree for kids as well.

Everything we ordered was full of flavor and tasted truly authentic. The naan was fresh, soft, and good with chicken tikka masala.Service was great, and the staff made us feel very welcome. I’ll be bringing friends and family here for sure.

As a restaurateur familiar with Indian cuisine, I found the food good overall but a bit under-seasoned. The “North Indian Biryani, not South Indian” was really chicken curry with rice — tasty but it cannot be called biryani. The dal was exceptional, easily the best dish. Chicken 65, coconut lime soup, and tandoori chicken were okay, while the chicken curry was bland. With a little more salt and authenticity, this place could be great.

I absolutely adore that this cozy little restaurant is so consistent. It has been a favorite of mine for years and I know that anytime I’m near Asheville, this will be my favorite meal. The service is super attentive. Seating is usually available. Not only do drinks arrive quickly but so does any food ordered. I always feel a little like a VIP! Over the years I’ve tried many dishes but I usually go back to the traditional chicken korma. The last visit I went it was snowing outside and this dish was absolutely the perfect amount of warmth and comfort. It may be my new favorite “comfort food.” The flavor is well balanced, and they always ask how spicy you would like it. For me the mild is plenty flavorful. It’s played elegantly with Jasmine rice and some veggies. The Tikka Masala has more of a tomato base and is also very flavorful. The garlic Naan was delivered hot and fresh from the oven. It was full of flavor without making me feel weighted down with too much bread. YUMMMY! The chai tea is also one of those that makes you just feel cozy at the first sip. If you want a cold drink, the mango lassie here is by far one of the best ones I’ve ever had. It’s full bodied, thick but not overly so while also sweet but not enough that it tastes like syrup. They do really well at accentuating the natural mango flavor. The kind staff always makes me feel welcome and I would absolutely recommend this often overlooked jewel to anyone!

We visited on August 7, 2024. Everything was delicious. The service was really nice. We had the Samosa, butter chicken, haan bread with chicken and a vegetarian stew which my husband loved.

This place should be 10 stars! Me and my wife don’t get there as much as we used to but the chicken tikki masala and lamb korma are our favorites. Pair it with the garlic naan!

EXCELLENT!!! So authentic and truly unreal how incredible the food was here. They staff and owner were so friendly and helpful in deciding exactly what we wanted to eat. I couldn’t believe how spicy even “medium” heat food was until I tried a tray here. If you like Indian style food this place will blow your mind. Do yourself a favor and stop in next time you’re anywhere in the area. I’ll be back time and time again!

Amazing. After several failing tries to dine at this restaurant we finally could make it this past weekend, the service is super attentive and kind. The seating and overall ambient of the restaurant is cozy and comfy. The menu is a book fill with delicious dishes ( literally you can’t go wrong with any of the choices) and of course the food was exquisite. Presently balanced spices, sauces. Nice large portions for those to love dipping some bread on the entrée sauce. For those how love blonde lager beer I recommend the kingfisher is so refreshing and full of flavor you are going to want more than one. To close this wonderfull experience the check. I think is a fair price for the level of restaurant, service and food they serve. Totally recommend .
