The Galloping Gourmet To-Go offers online breakfast and lunch ordering with pickup at the takeout window. Black Prong Resort guests and the communities of Bronson, Williston, Chiefland, and Morriston, FL can all enjoy convenient meal pickup! Orders can be taken to-go and or can be enjoyed under the pavilion awning or at one of the picnic tables located nearby. The original Galloping Gourmet food truck can be found at local pop-up events and at Amber Brooke Farms during their festival season.

So, we ate at the bar last night. Food, drinks, and service were top-notch. Bar-tender/manager was great. Today, we did the online ordering for lunch. They do not notify when your order is ready. After 30 minutes, I found our order sitting in a brown paper bag. It was obvious that it had been sitting there for 15+ minutes. The cheese steak and burger were very good (just warm). The fries were cold and greasy, and the tomato salad was not fresh nor appealing. We threw the fries and tomatoes in the trash. They must develop a system to “text” when the order is ready. Dinner service deserves 5’s across the board. Lunch is 3, 3, 2, no star for atmosphere.

This place was so amazing that not only did my husband tip above normal, my phone notification went off saying it detected moisture (it wasn’t in my pocket lol). I didn’t stop to think about taking a picture until my food was nearly complete! I had the hush puppies and the fired green tomato BLT which me and my 9 month old enjoyed. My 4 y.o. had the tater tots which as you guessed is a picky eater but scarffed these down. My husband had the roast beef sandwich which isn’t pictured because he inhaled it like a brand new hoover vacuum on packing peanuts.
They’re opening a brick and mortar on December 1st. Honestly I’ve never been this excited over eating at a restaurant but I will definitely be a first and reoccurring customer here. The grounds are beautiful and secluded. A big thank you to the employees for being sweet and a pleasure to talk to. Honestly was debating whether or not to review this place because I wanted to keep it to myself.
You won’t be disappointed, you’ll leave talking about how amazing this place was, how outstanding the food was, and how you want everyone and their grandma to know about this place.

Had a fantastic lunch here. We love the dinner restaurant at Black Prong, and the lunch was just as good! Great quality and impressive portions for a lunch. Nice outdoor seating and very peaceful.

Juat ate here with my daughter. She got the double chocolate pancakes, I got the steak egg and cheese. Everything was fantastic, large servings, good prices, very friendly service, and nice outdoor seating. We will be coming back more often to try the other options. It’s great to have a small convenient place in the local area that serves food of this quality.

Hands down, the best roast beef sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Met the hard working, friendly owner and felt he really cares about the community, quality, and doing what’s right. On top of that, I was blown away by how incredible the food tastes. While they might be way out, the food is absolutely incredible. Highly recommend! I live nearly 2 hours away and would drive that far for their food. Even way out in the middle of no where, they had heirloom tomatoes and thick cut gourmet cheese on their sandwiches. Also, the portions are big! You’ll have to push through the pain to finish.

Very disappointed ☹️ of this place I placed an online order that was supposed to be ready for pickup at 8:30 AM, as confirmed in the email I received. When I arrived at around 8:34, I rang the bell they have for order pickups, but no one responded. I waited for about five minutes and rang it again, and someone open the window like crazy didn’t even led me say good morning or why I was ringing the bell, he said Im the only one here so your order will be ready when I can, that’s something normal to say but he said that with horrible attitude in front of my kids, and then he shouted the window like he wanted to break it, I couldn’t say anything about, my kids got scared, I had to take them to the car cause that was extremely uncomfortable and rude, honestly that’s is not acceptable, that man should not be allowed to work there, is the 2nd time that happens to me in this place, I will not be coming back, and my order was wrong and poorly packed , he did it with anger , I couldn’t even say something about it cause he left the bags outside.!! Horrible behavior manager should talk to him .!!

This place has Really Great Food!! So much thought and detail. They grow much of there own herb and have a small chicken pen in which they get their eggs from daily. So very nice. Sorry I didn’t take food photos.

Had high hopes for the resort, but was disappointed. Ordered the Wagu burger, expecting something fresh, but received what appeared to be a previously frozen Sysco burger. Was pleasantly surprised that there is a 10% discount for ordering online, but further surprised when there was a suggestion for a tip. What is the top for, self-service? Didn’t receive notification that the order was ready, while I was waiting in the parking lot, so the food sat in the outside delivery box for about 10 minutes. The saving grace was getting to look at the pool and its fountains…
