OMG our hidden treasure right by our house! We have traveled to little Havana in Miami, ate at Versailles restaurant that was recommended to us. We loved it we went back to it the next day. We went to versialles in West LA but it was too far, and we only ate the when we were in the area. Media Noche outperformed both IMO. The food was delicious I loved every bite. I got the Masa De Puerco, it came with white rice, Black bean on the side, yucca underneath the perfectly fried pork on top of it, garnished with Platano Maduro. Every bite is filled with authentic Cuban flare. It felt like his mother was guiding his hand when preping the dish. We were so amazed we had to personally thank him for everyone. He asked, “How was it?” as I pointed to my empty plate telling him this is our new spot. We are kicking ourselves for not trying this spot out. We would drive by and hear the music blasting and thought we should try this place and never followed through. It’s great location to where we live five minutes away to get home after having the itus. I relied on my wife who was previously married to a Cuban and was learning all about the Cuban cuisine. She explained that this food is exactly like her previous in-law’s cooking. We alerted alot of our Cuban family members about this place and are planning to come eat here. Just came from Sunday buffet and got everything set out this place is amazing! I posted a video of how soft my fried pork is.

ATTN OWNER: Your management team is horrible. I called today Sunday 10/8 at 4pm for a simple mistake in my order. Your so called manger was so dismissive hung up on me twice and didn’t want to hear me. I didn’t ask for anything for free, didn’t ask for her to fix anything just to simply give me what I paid for. She never once said sorry for the inconvenience, just said nothing was her fault. This business needs a lot of work. Unfortunately the food isn’t good enough to keep the business running with horrible management.

The restaurant is located in an industrial part of Covina on Vincent Avenue and West San Bernardino Road major streets. There are two strip malls on a large lot. The restaurant is located in the smaller second strip mall south of West San Bernardino Road. The restaurant is hidden among several shops and has a small store front. There is a large shared parking lot.
The restaurant depth is very large with tables and chairs that can be arranged to accommodate large groups. The menu is extensive with dishes on both sides. The dishes served were very good. The avocado salad, the rice and beans, the fried bananas and the Paella Valenciana. The Paella Valenciana takes about 45 minutes to make. The service was very good and the prices for the dishes served were reasonable.

This was my first time at this restaurant. Food was delicious and fresh. I had a Cuban Sandwich while my wife had the skirt steak. My only qualm was the service was a little slow for my taste and I like to eat slow. We will definitely be back.

This place is so delicious! Authentic Cuban food in Covina. Such a rarity and this is a hidden gem, I tell you. We got cuban tameles, braised oxtail, and I’m not sure what the pineapple dish was but ALL were delicious. I didn’t get a chance to have their Paella Del Mar. I’d advise to call and order that ahead of time cause it take 30 mins to make. Can’t wait to try it! This place should seriously be on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives.

Seen this place as I was driving by they had the buffet sign up for $13 unfortunately it was Saturday and that the only day they don’t have the buffet. We still decided to try the place and weren’t disappointed! We had guava water, the rice dice was Pa’ella, and the steak dish is churrasco with chimichurri sauce on top that was so delicious.

We have been going to this restaurant for 3 years, it WAS great. Now horrible, the owners and workers need to get it to getter quick or they will be out of business. We stopped in 10 days ago, thought Emapanadas, would be fast, 30 minutes later they came, hot and fresh, we also ordered a cuban seafood stew. Another 20 minutes goes by, we had to go, I went to the kitchen, a girls said its ready, good but after more than 45 minutes, sad.
So, last night my wife had a stalk of plantains, she wanted to give to the restaurant. We tried to get Empanadas, this time 45 later we 4 Emapanadas, but not the main course, good but service was poor, we had to listen and watch 2 TV’s with kids cartoons playing and kids running around.
No refills on water.
Another 25 minutes to get mortos con christianos and marinated pork. The pork was deep fried, but old Double cooked, to nothing, check the photo, the black beans in rice were heated to a crisp in the microwave and in a clump.
We asked for our check as the main course came, no bill, my wife had to open the kitchen door and ask again.
Fail, fail, lazy people, reheating old food, and doing bad at it..
Never again will we go back…

Super yummy great service. Has now become one of my regular go to places. And they have live music on the weekends.

Food was not worth the price. Very small portions and not anything special. There aren’t many cuban places in the area so many people have nothing to compare the subpar food with. Service was bare minimum. Didn’t seem like they wanted to answer the phone. Upon arrival there was no one at the front desk. I waited for 5 mins before anyone came out.

Great service, very welcoming. Even better food. We had papas rellenas, empanadas, and a Cuban sandwich. All extremely delicious. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.
