We ordered six rolls along with a large Sapporo: The Red Dragon, Rainbow, Jalapeno, Spicy Tuna, Crunchy Salmon, and OMG rolls. My favorites were definitely the Rainbow, OMG, and Red Dragon. Each roll was delicious, and the extensive menu means I’ll definitely be back to try even more rolls. Missing star because the other rolls were just mehhh like not good at all and the service was ok.
The fish was so fresh it felt disrespectful to dip it in soy sauce. The rice was perfectly balanced, not mushy, not dry, just sitting there quietly doing its job like a professional. Every roll showed up looking like it had a résumé.
Service was fast, friendly, and somehow always there exactly when I needed more water or made eye contact with the menu again. No hovering. No disappearing act. Just solid execution.
Portions were generous without being sloppy, prices felt fair, and nothing tasted like it came from a freezer or a shortcut. Even the wasabi had personality.
If you’re debating where to get sushi, stop debating. Go here. Future you will be annoyed you didn’t go sooner.
The thick slices of sashimi are a highlight, with 15 pieces plus a small roll, priced at $35. The salmon and mackerel (the whitest one) are particularly delicious, especially the tender and fatty salmon. Unfortunately, the yellowtail and yellowtail are a bit disappointing in texture. I ended up not finishing those two, but the tuna exceeded my expectations, so I polished it off.
The salad is okay, and the miso soup has a mild flavor. As for the iced water, it has a strong mineral taste, and even adding lemon slices doesn’t quite mask it. Odd, isn’t it?
Oh, and the accompanying rice is regular white rice, not vinegar-seasoned rice. The grains are well-cooked and distinct, making it a tasty bowl of rice.
Considering the price, I’d give it **four stars**! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
