Oh the food, the Chongqing spicy noodles were not the worst noodles I’ve even tried but it had nothing with the name.
The service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out quickly and fresh. You can tell they really care about their customers.
The food was absolutely delicious. The cast iron beef was the highlight served sizzling hot, tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was packed with rich, savory flavor. The eggplant dish was just as impressive — soft, tasty, and cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce that pairs perfectly with rice.
If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food with great service and a welcoming atmosphere, Amazing Kitchen is definitely worth visiting. I’ll definitely be coming back!
I ordered the Chicken with Explosive Peppers and the Chinese broccoli. The food was great and very flavorful, portions are easily shareable between 2 people. Everything was cooked great – chicken was crunchy and the veggies were perfectly crisp.
On my way out, I forgot that I had asked my server for some chili oil with my leftovers. I had left without it, and he chased me down the street to hand me chili oil – truly above and beyond service and very sweet!
The location is really convenient – right next to Union Square and BART. I didn’t feel like walking an extra mile to Chinatown tonight so this spot was perfect. Delicious, inviting, no frills, and surprisingly well priced for the area.
My wife ordered a chow mein pork soup, I had better soups before in different restaurants. Soup size is good much larger than the noodle and same price $16.
They charge 15% directly in the bill, I don’t know if it’s from the regulation of the city or something from the restaurant, so be aware to don’t pay service 2 times.
They have restroom in the lower floor.
Hard to park in this area!
Wheelchair friendly.
Found this place. Walked in around 5PM on a Thursday, I was the only person dining in but there were several takeout orders.
The lady was very friendly and changed the music to something she guessed I would enjoy. I was amused that the default cutlery on the table was a fork, but since I was ordering in Chinese she quickly swapped that out for chopsticks.
I got the wonton noodle soup and salt and pepper tofu. I asked for the noodles to be cooked extra soft since I was dealing with some pain, and they accommodated. I finished all my food and waddled out of there a happy camper.
Is it a knock your socks off meal? No, but it scratched the itch and I was happy.
Small restaurant around 10-12 tables perhaps.
The food quality is great and the taste amazing. We enjoyed the wonton soup, veggie fried rice and beef with string beans.
Don’t miss it. I will come back.
