This is the place to go for pizza in the Hartford area. My girlfriend and I got the Chicago style pizza and it was amazing. The waitress and owner were both very kind. The owner came to our table and talked to us and made us feel very welcome there. We will definitely be going back to try some more things there!

We have come here many times before. I always either get the grated cheese pizza or one of the specials that night. Have to say the specials are some of the best. Food and service are amazing. John who works up front is fun to talk to. Makes some great drinks as well. Highly recommend this spot for dinner. Also their mozzarella sticks are some of the best in the state

Vito’s Restaurant is a place that I visit quite frequently and the food and service are always outstanding. They have some of the best specials around and we love grabbing their slices for lunch! its delicious; quick and easy. I 100% recommend. We all went there for our Christmas work dinner and we were treated like family.

Not to be missed gem of an Italian restaurant that will beg you to come back to try everything on the menu. So many scrumptious choices beg you to return. So many pizzas to try but keep on eye out for the Che Buena Basil and Barrata pizza that should be a permanent fixture on their menu. Maybe if you ask chef Jonathan he will make it for you. He has a weath of knowledge on Italian cuisine and a pleasure to talk to. Eggplant fries appetizer is a must! Also recommend the penne melanzani al forne with tomato cream sauce. The entire staff was attentive and friendly. The entire experience was wonderful thanks to you all . Thank you a delightful evening.

I had tomato bisque and a create your own pasta…..both fantastic.
My boyfriend had the deep dish, holy smokes, so decadent.

First time ever eating at Vito’s. We started with fried calamari and fried mozzarella sticks. Calimarin was way over cooked and the mozzarella sticks were very greasy.
I ordered the Shrimp Putenesca and she ordered penne pasta with pesto and grilled chicken. The Putenesca was full of large chopped veggies including huge chunks of garlic, canned cherry peppers, red onion and bland tomato with the skins on. There were still stems on a pepper and a large green stem from something. Overall it was nothing like a normal Putenesca and not in a good way.
My wife’s pasta had maybe 6 bite size pieces of chicken and there was so much pesto it was swimming in oil.
The only good part of the meal was the Sam Adams beer.

This was a great experience. The garlic bread bites had excellent texture and flavor. The mozzarella sticks are fresh made every day and are excellent. The pink vodka sauce was very flavorful. The pizza had a crispy bottom but a light airy top to the crust. Great sauce, plenty of cheese, and tasty meats. The server was very friendly and helpful. Back again and it was even better. My server Tina was over the top good.

It was good. Chicken artichoke had a strong artichoke and lemon flavor but I liked it. Hubby had antipasto with a side of sausage. Garden salad was fresh. Mussels marinara was great but the chef should know better NOT to serve the ones that didn’t open. One or two okay, but we had 5 in our serving.
