Ordered a light toast on a tomato bagel, there are many 3 tomatoes slices barely edible since most of them are hard from the yellow/green portions of root. Then when ordering the everything w/ cream cheese it’s 2 inches thick make it make sense . Poor quality to serve to customers.

Everyone I know loves the bagels from this place. It’s the best in Bergen county for sure! Their water bagels are big and puffy with a slightly crisp (toasty) outer layer, and a soft and chewy inside. Parking can be tough on weekend mornings but people just park on the side of the road to get their bagel fix when it’s busy. And, that’s when all the cops are there getting bagels so they are very forgiving about that.

Best bagels in Fort Lee. It gets crowded on weekends, but their level of organization compared to your typical NJ bagel shop is impressive. Despite the crowds, things move fast and the processing of ordering, waiting, and paying is very efficient. Only complaint is the bagels rarely are either over or under cooked. And for some reason, they refuse to slice your bagels if you order them to go without a filling. They will not say why, but I assume it’s because you’re not buying the cream cheese from them and the feel it isn’t worth the effort? Overall, would definitely recommend.

DONT TRUST THE GOOD REVIEWS. Heres a real one. From 12/27/25
Absolutely disgusting. Used to be good. Went in for a salmon cream cheese bagel and a cream cheese bagel and a long grey hair in one of them. They rung me up 19$ , I got in the car , the bagels were cold. Not toasted. And I was over charged.
The girl who made em for me had a nasty attitude too.
I’ll never come here again. Absolute overpriced filth. The bagels were stale and old tasting too. Threw out the order.
Health dept needs to visit this place. Unsafe practices.

Pretty expensive. Sliced lox on a plain bagel, and a bacon Taylor ham egg and cheese on a roll, and hot coffee ran me $30. I get it though. Paying staff a living wage and ingredient inflation is killing small businesses. At least it was very delicious. The employees are very consistent as well. Besides the price, I thought it was amazing.

One of the town’s staples that every bagel lover in the area knows. No frills, just great bagels, consistent and always get the job done. Parking can be a bit annoying, and it gets packed in the mornings, but it’s worth it. Now that they’re no longer cash-only, that’s a huge plus. Prices are low, but the quality is top-notch. Although I’ve been going here for over 10 years I can only speak on the bagels because I don’t venture too deep into the menu. the coffee wont change your life but you’ll still take it.

Outstanding bagels, we ordered an onion bagel plain smear with lox and an cinnamon bagel with egg+cheese. Friendly service, came out fast. Bagels were thick and chewy, nice crisp on the edges, smear and lox was plentiful. Amazing..I had Russ & Daughters yesterday and this place is better by far.

I get it—times have changed, and with inflation, prices everywhere have gone up. I don’t mind paying more when the quality matches the cost. But sadly, that wasn’t the case today.
This bagel shop used to be a staple for us since we were 16—huge, delicious bagels stuffed for a fair price. Today, I picked up two turkey, cheese, and egg white bagels with tomato at $9 each for my wife and me. Given the times, I didn’t expect $4 bagels anymore, but I did expect a decent breakfast.
Instead, what we got was underwhelming: the bagel wasn’t toasted, the cheese wasn’t melted, just two thin slices of turkey, and a plain egg white. The tomato seemed to throw everything off, leaving the whole sandwich confused between hot and cold.
I understand inflation, but when you’re charging nearly $10 for a bagel, the quality should reflect the price. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing bagels I’ve had in years—especially from a place that was once a beloved go-to.
I don’t know if it’s new ownership and a new workforce, but today this went from one of the best bagel shops in the country to a place I’ll have to think twice about returning to. It seems the unmelted cheese & underwhelming breakfast is a new norm.

I have been coming to Bergen Boulevard Bagels for years and there bagels really are delicious however today was a terrible experience. I ordered 2 egg sandwiches, a bagel with cream cheese and a 4th bagel cut with cream cheese on the side (my 6 year old is starting to loose her teeth so easier to eat that way!) The manager refused to slice the one plain bagel for me. When I explained it’s for my daughter he said it’s not their policy. Not sure how it’s not a policy to slice a bagel at a bagel shop but seems crazy. I asked again kindly and he still refused. Now I understand if I was ordering a dozen bagels and asked for them sliced but one as part of a larger order seems not too much to ask for and really just a hospitable way to run a bagel shop. Anyways very disappointing!

I don’t know what’s going on but every time I eat here I get deathly sick with severe diarrhea. I’m not sure if it’s bad coffee or they’re not cleaning their coffee machine or perhaps it’s the food but I literally get sick every single time I eat here. This place has really gone downhill as far as quality. I stopped ordering any sandwich on a roll because the roll was so stale and chewy. It was disgusting. The bagels are OK but the meat and eggs and cheese that they use seem to be very poor quality unfortunately I have to stop coming here.
