I first discovered the food two weeks ago using the DoorDash app. I’ve come back three times now. If you want a home-cooked hearty meal then this is the place to go. If you were to look into the definition of what comfort food means this fits perfectly into that category. The staff and the owner has been nothing but friendly and they Make you feel like you’re a part of the family as soon as you walk through that door and you can tell that the owner generally cares about her craft and what the people think. I will be back 1000 times again and next time I’ll be bringing the whole family.. Thank you! See you soon.

What a fantastic place to eat. The food was amazing and on point. Everyone is friendly and offer suggestions to improve your experience. I had the haddock, Mac & cheese, and collards. Wow. I could not stop eating this dish and almost forgot to breathe :-). Seriously, it was that good.

I went here for the first time today and I will admit I was a bit hesitant. When I came into the restaurant I was greeted with a smile and that quickly put me to ease. I ordered the curry chicken because , I was a bit early and the jerk chicken had not finished cooking yet. The portion was large! The chicken fell off the bone and had lots of flavor! The cabbage was fresh and seasoned well. The rice and peas were soft and seasoned with the juice from the chicken. It was awesome! My only regret was I did not get the Mac and cheese but don’t worry I’m going back tomorrow and I am bringing my family this weekend. All the food in the case looked really fresh and awesome! Another customer got oxtails and they looked to be a good size and they got what I would consider a great portion. Be careful where you are parking because there are a few spots that are posted.

Me and my husband just stopped in based off reviews and wanting something different. The foooood is delicious. Hot and fresh. My husband got the curry chicken dinner and I got the oxtails. Everything was sooo good, it’s hard in Schenectady with select places but this Caribbean food is it!!! Definitely will be back. The place was clean, staff was friendly!

This place is so far out of my way because of where I live, but it’s worth it. The best yams, cabbage and sweet plantains I’ve ever had. This is coming from someone who’s had the “then best” Bronx/Yonkers White Plains road Jamaican restaurants.

Amazing small business run by a lovely lady who makes all the food herself. Not only was the food amazing but she was so warm and inviting herself. She gave us free samples to try different menu items and just seems to be really engaged with her customers having a great experience at her restaurant.

Jerk chicken, stew chicken, rice and beans, cabbage, the plantains, the curry chicken it was alllll delicious. I haven’t had Caribbean cuisine in some years and they blow it out the water. I’m going back this week to get some oxtails cause they looked fantastic too. So friendly and generous. Love this place

I am from out of town and wanted to find a good Jamaican restaurant. From the time I showed up. I was treated kindly and assisted by a sweet lady, (owner)and a young man inside who fried the food. They both walked me through the menu, which is full of yummy options. The young man fried my son some of the best fish we have ever eaten. I can go on and on…..but all in all the place was clean and inviting. The food was delicious! The rice and peas is my favorite of all time. I have and will recommend this place to everyone. Thank you for your kindness and delicious food, made with love. We’ll be back soon.
