True authentic Chinese food and Steak House.

I had the Spicy Kung Pau Chicken. To die for. The owner made it as spicy as I wanted.

They also have these giant Egg Rolls which are outstanding.

The owner, who is also the server, insures that everything is perfect. He continually returns to check on you.

The atmosphere is casual. Customers talk to each other and have a great time.

I highly recommend this place whenever you are in Barstow California.

This is a quirky little spot—you can get breakfast, Chinese food, and even alcohol all under one roof. I came here in the morning for breakfast, and it was pretty decent. Definitely feels like a place that caters to locals on a budget. For two plates of food plus two coffees, the total was only $26, which is a great deal. Service was quick, there’s plenty of parking, and it’s conveniently close to the Motel 6 where we stayed. Overall, you get what you pay for.

The environment here is friendly and a few patrons seemed super familiar with staff. It’s a very casual restaurant with lots of options. When we arrived it took close to 10 minutes to be acknowledged or sat. A girl who was waiting before us had said she’d been waiting and hadn’t spoken to anyone yet either. Yes, they were busy but a quick “I’ll be with you” would have been appreciated.
When we did actually interact with staff they were very friendly and helpful. Although they claimed to be a little behind we got our food in what I consider a pretty fast amount of time. They did forget our drinks and I did over hear they missed a few things on someone else’s order but again, they were busy and possibly short staffed. Again -THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE.
The atmosphere is inviting and the prices are SO GOOD! The portion you get for the price is unbeatable. The only issue I had was the food itself. We were repeatedly told this place had the best Chinese in town. If that’s true, I won’t be trying any other places in town because this was absolutely some of the worst Chinese I’ve experienced in a long time. And I really hate to say that because they are such nice people.
We can start with the fried rice. It’s very plain and tasted to ME like brown rice. Adding soy sauce to it didn’t not fix it. I was also disappointed there weren’t much vegetables like carrots, although there was onion. I also ordered vegetable lo mein and while I appreciated the variety of vegetables I didn’t get a good portion of noodles because it was completely overloaded with bean sprouts. Maybe 60% of the dish was bean sprouts. The flavor was good though so I might order again if they took out the bean sprouts. The bbq pork was one of the most atrocious bbq pork dishes I have ever seen. I will share the photo because it speaks for itself but please note I took the photo after the person I ate with had some. He was utterly disappointed in the appearance and taste. I did not try it. I got beef and broccoli which was okay except it had an overwhelmingly strong FISH taste. The texture of the beef was soft and tender but the taste was off putting because it gave SEAFOOD not BEEF. Lastly, I had an eggroll. I took one bite and before I even started chewing the bite I was disappointed because it tasted burnt. I literally just took the one bite and that was that.
I would not return here for Chinese food. However they offer plenty of other dining options that interest me like prime rib and steak that I would consider coming again to try.
Overall, no matter how friendly the staff is or clean the environment is, the Chinese food that WE had here was way too far under par. I would rather drive 45 minutes into Victorville to eat at golden chopsticks than eat CHINESE here again.
And as a side note my stomach is kind of rumbling after this meal.
Thank you.

It was ok, nothing special really. I probably won’t order again. I’m disappointed they didn’t send chili sauce for the SiuMai. But most of all, the food was just okay so it’s not worth paying extra for delivery since they’re not on DashPass.

Huge plate for average price. I can eat half n take home the other half for dinner.

Been there a few times before, but I didn’t feel like it was an authentic Chinese dish till this time.

This dish of house noodles is quite authentic. The service is friendly, and she speaks Chinese. My friend ordered the sir loin steak. Although this is a Chinese restaurant, it serves American food as well.

Overall, I would go this restaurant again with d3cent Chinese food, plenty of parking, and nice services.

Didn’t take pictures of my food because it was all gone by the time I thought of it, ha! We stop here every time we come through and service never fails. We very often leave with leftovers because it’s food worth reheating. The entrance driveway is incredibly steep and not recommended for RVs, drive carefully.

Went here with my family last night, had a decent dinner. Their dumplings were very good, shrimp fried rice, beef broccoli and salt and pepper chicken wings were scrumptious. I ordered the beef ribs special for Saturday night, it was alright, the egg drop soup tasted like a mix of egg drop and chicken noodle soup. The shrimp in lobster sauce didn’t look very appetizing . Overall, we had a nice dinner as a family, waiter was awesome, drinks were always filled and he constantly was checking on our table. I hope they continue to concentrate on perfecting the Chinese dishes. We’ll definitely be back to support this restaurant until they give us a reason not to.

It’s a nice little restaurant following in the shoes of it’s predecessor. The wait staff is very nice and attentive while the wait time for food was around average for the items I ordered. I ordered an appetizer of BBQ pork and the king’s meal (2 prime rib steaks, french fries, broccoli, fried zucchini, and soup). The steak was a little overdone to my liking and could have used a little more salt but honestly the food was overall good.

This was a wonderful surprise. They were understaffed, but still put out great service, and excellent food. The veggies in both dishes were fresh and crisp, the sauces very tasty, and the beef, tender, tender, tender! We’ll be back!
