Ordered the pickled fish soup, pepper pork, and spicy eggplant stir fry. Everything was great! Please note, the flavors are strong because it’s meant to be eaten with a side of rice. In my experience, that’s just the Sichuan way.

I saw some reviews here that were complaining about that, and the service, etc… I went in with my guard up because of that, but really can’t relate to them in my experience. The server and cook were warm and friendly. I understand there’s a language barrier for some, but a simple xiexie (shye shye) goes a long way.

The eggplant was my favorite dish. If you’re looking to expand your palette or enjoy some classic dishes, this is the place!

I just ordered their shredded pork and peppers bowl and I got a very big plate of food. The food is very good. The peppers were fresh and the shredded pork was substantial. The only issue that may prevent this place from having more success is the trouble with the communication. I am not Chinese. They are clearly Chinese here and it took two people to take my order. There is no hot mustard or sriracha to be had but I was able to get a red pepper medley to spice up the dish. They did not understand me when I asked for egg rolls so I let that go. I was able to gesture and mime my way to getting a good plate just know that this place is authentic Chinese and if you speak Chinese, you will enjoy both the food and the service. For me, it was a bit of a struggle but with great results.

Pickup an order from uber one. Only half bowl of dish, called then but they hang up, very bad attitude. Also the food doesn’t taste good. Can’t believe it costs me 34 dollars

It’s obviously a booth mainly depending on online food order. They don’t even have porcelain dishes. Entrée is fine. Not bad, not surprising. A little salty even for me. Not worth visiting there specifically. But if you are there at lunchtime and you want a simple meal, it’s a good choice.

A restaurant worthy of the title of chef. Mapo tofu, cumin lamb, sour soup beef. Tough to choose a favorite among them, all amazing in different ways. Hopefully the restaurant is not named in tribute to an abductee perhaps from an internationally famous restaurant being forced to cook against their will. That would be bad, but on the other hand it would explain the incredibly high quality of the cooking at such reasonable prices. I would urge everyone to order from here and be on the lookout for any secreted appeals for help…. subsequently ordered dry pot ribs, cumin lamb and spicy pepper with pork; all delicious variations of spicy flavors

Friendly service and very authentic Szechuan style Chinese food. Twice cooked pork belly and Yangzhou fried rice were great.

Amazing and delicious! I have been a fan of Sichuan food for many years and Chef Chuan is now my favorite Chinese restaurant in Orange County. If you do not speak Mandarin, use Google translate with the super friendly staff that does not speak English. I had the Fresh Cucumber, Chongqing style spicy chicken, Hand Shredded Cabbage. All three dishes were so delicious and authentic. If you don’t like spicy food, just ask them to make the food mild.

If you’re a fan of Sichuan cuisine, then you simply must try out the restaurant that I recently visited. The flavors were so authentic and the dishes were simply delicious. I highly recommend it!

Firstly, the cumin lamb was an absolute standout. The spices were perfectly balanced and the meat was cooked to perfection. It had just the right amount of heat, and the cumin added an extra depth of flavor that was truly unique.

Next up, the pickled peppers beef was another hit. The beef was tender and succulent, and the pickled peppers gave it a tangy and slightly sour taste that worked really well with the beef.

Finally, the dry fried intestines were also very good. They had a crispy exterior and a relatively soft, flavorful interior. They were seasoned perfectly and had just the right amount of spice. It’s definitely not a dish for everyone, but if you’re a fan of offal and want to try something new, then it is worth trying.
