A relatively small restaurant serving up good American and Latin food with a relatively small but good sports bar. Very good service. Nice decor. Outdoor patio. Good family style salad with balsamic dressing. Warm bread with butter. Decent fried calamari. Not crunchy but tasty. Very good seafood and steak.

I have been going here for over 2 years and the food and drinks have always been on point. My go to was the Tomahawk steak and Always Loved it!.. Unfortunately, this time, my boyfriend and I we’re very disappointed! We ordered the Tomahawk steak and we were excited but only got about 4 pieces each out of it and the rest was Huge Fat pieces! I get that there’s fat depending on the cut, but this “Fat” wasn’t like anything before!
Mgr. Steve came over to us and didn’t do anything to accommodate the situation! But he gave us more potatoes. He was definitely a disappointment this time around. We’ve had him for a party in the past and he was pretty good.
Overall, tonight’s experience with Food/Mgmt leaves us to think whether or not to go back!

February 8,2026 I had heard nothing but rave reviews about Tejos Tomahawk Steak. I was so excited to finally get a chance to have it. I was nothing but disappointed. Over half of it was nothing but fat. An $89 steak that was basically fat. Spoke to management and got nothing but excuses. I will never go there again.

I got together with a friend to get some food and drinks. When I arrived I found parking nearby on the street. I walked into a very live bar and grill. I was lucky to find seats at the bar because it was super busy. Fraceli was our bartender, and she was nice. I started with the red sangria mini pitcher, and it was very good. For my meal, I got the whole red snapper. It did take quite a while for it to come out because they said it takes time for the snapper to prep. When it came out, it looked good. I dug in, and it was good, but I did have to add some salt because it was a little bland. The potatoes and mixed vegetables were good. The bill was really decent. All in all I had a good experience!

This place is great, been coming for years, it does get packed and sometimes only one or two bartenders for like 30 people. But they do their best, the food however is great!!! Get the sampler if you want a little bit of everything! Their garlic shrimp is one of my favorites in the area! I also got a roast lamb!! Sometimes they have specials!!

was extremely disappointed with what happened last night. Before going to the restaurant on New Year’s Eve, I was clearly told that no reservation would be required. Trusting that information, my family and I went to the restaurant, only to be told upon arrival that they were only accepting guests with reservations and had no tables available.
At that point, there was nowhere else to go, especially given the time and the fact that it was New Year’s Eve. This completely ruined the holiday night for my family. We didn’t even have food at home, and to make things worse, my daughter lives out of state and was only visiting us, which made this situation even more upsetting and heartbreaking.
What should have been a special family night turned into a very frustrating experience due to poor organization and, most importantly, a lack of clear communication. I truly hope this helps prevent other families from going through the same situation in the future.

We hosted a baby shower at Tejo. The owner and staff are pleasant and great to work with, but the food above all is simply amazing and the catering menu is very well priced and includes so much! I would recommend hosting any event here or visiting for lunch or dinner!

I went to this place few years ago and decided never come back. The owner was nice, but his wife and the chef (he said his name was Manuel) were making jokes about me when I tried to honor Portuguese people. My friend recently went there and had a bad experience too. He questioned why I didn’t write review that time and he said we need to share our experience because this contribute to people to decide how they will spend their money.
PS: the last time I ordered there the fish was saltier than it should be.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. This is my 2nd time , but The service was disorganized, and Brazilian girl at the bar not friendly at all”and the staff appeared uninterested in addressing basic customer concerns. The food was poorly prepared. I order Sea loin, steak sandwich, and shrimp, garlic sauce, but arrived cold, and did not match what was described on the menu. The meat wasn’t what was describe it, and he was extremely hard and cold in which made the overall experience uncomfortable. Based on this visit, I would not recommend this establishment.
