I love that they stay open until 7 PM – so rare for a coffee shop and such a gift for those of us who need a creative spot later in the day. The space is warm, with comfy seating and a gorgeous gallery wall featuring local artists. It’s the kind of place that invites you to linger.
And as a bonus? It’s right next door to the most adorable little bookshop, Main Book Hook! You can grab a great read and then pop over for a latte and some relaxing downtime. This little corner is a total win for readers, writers, and cozy-vibe lovers alike.
I have given this place chance after chance for YEARS and I am officially done. Every single time I convince myself “maybe it’ll be better this time” and it never is.
This week I paid $8.10 for a panini that is literally advertised on the menu as $5.56. If you’re going to raise prices, at least update the sign. EIGHT DOLLARS FOR A SANDWICH???????
And the coffee? Horrible. It never tastes the same twice. Sometimes it’s burnt, sometimes it’s watered down, sometimes it’s so sweet it’s undrinkable.
I have tried to support this place, but I’m tired of wasting my money.
EIGHT DOLLARS????? FOR A SANDWICH????????????
The staff was very friendly and there was a great variety of drink and food options. I also grabbed some bags of whole bean coffee made at their shop! I got their club panini and it was so good…my caramel macchiato wasn’t too bad either! It’s conveniently located off the highway exit, so would recommend if you have time for a quick pit stop while passing Shepherdsville.
Still, miles better than your typical chain coffe shop and an over all recommend.
The other reviews mentioned a few small detractors like clutter, but so what? It’s tough doing business nowadays and the baristas were very nice. On this cold rainy day they were the sunshine. I’m sure they are considered rockstars in this locale.
