January 15, 2026 was my first time coming to this location and I highly recommend anyone to eat at this restaurant, I drove almost an hour to try the food at this location, and let me tell you I was very impressed and satisfied with my food! The woman operating the drive-through was very friendly and patient. And whoever was making the chicken that afternoon did a remarkable job! The chicken was very flavorful and juicy my family was very satisfied! I haven’t been to a Popeyes in two years because of the Popeyes, location in rock Hill, on multiple occasions either have severely burned the chicken or got the orders wrong. So to anyone that is looking for a Popeyes location this is the one!

The begging, as I walked in she was in the back eating chicken. While the other young lady took my order. I had a problem prior when I placed an order online to see if I can get a refund or the food I llaves since my card was charged, I showed her my receipt on my phone which I took a snap shot of it, keesy informed I had to do it online and request a for my money back. I said ok. It didn’t work, she walked off, no communication then went on to proceed to eat her food all while being visible for customers to see, I told the young lady next to her I wanted to place a order either either way, the young lady told her I wanted to placed an order, keesy informed her to tell me she’ll be right with me and she never came, so the young lady took my order, I asked for a two piece combo spicy chicken with a side of fries. Loud and clear. I went home which is 20 mins away, my order was wrong, I go back keesy still eating and being rude, having a tone and attitude when I said my order is wrong, she asked me what I ordered, I said a two piece combo, she said that’s what’s in here I said I asked for two piece combo spicy chicken breast, the young lady who was next to her didn’t say anything when she was the one who took my order and charged me, keesy then says “well then say that “ I said I did. Not sure what’s the attitude for when she didn’t take my order too busy easy while working. She didnt ask for a receipt, she didn’t ask if I wanted my money back or I would like what I actually ordered, she walked off again without saying anything, and refunded me my money in cash when I paid with a debit card, She didn’t give me the full amount. I was upset, so I took the cash and left. On my way home I called the store to speak to manager and get her name to fund a complaint, she answered the phone, I asked what’s your name; she refused to tell me the I asked again, she asked away; I answered to file a complaint, you have bad customer service you were rude, I asked how is her name spelled to and she hangs up the phone on me being rude yet again, I called again, she told me to call tomorrow so I can speak to a general a manger, who wasn’t much help either, wing is wrong and right is right. I’ve worked as a server and bartender, she basically defened her actions this Popeyes has poor reviews. She’s asked me if I got my refund I did and not the full amount, however that’s besides the point !! It was her actions. Attitude and rudeness to the lack of communication, not asking what I want, the young lady who took my order standing there not speaking up when she took my order and knew what I asked for. Talking under her breath rolling her eyes and having a tone and getting hung up while talking on the phone. Didn’t get a store credit or food to make it better not ONCE DID I GET AN APOLOGY from either of keesy, the young lady or the manager I spoke to this morning. Very unprofessional I will call again to speak to direct manager. I really dislike how it was handled being that I drive twice !!

YESTERDAY EVENING I was feeling Popeyes being from NY. I walked in asked for an 8 piece. Asked for fresh dropped chicken figure a place that busy, np problem. Manager and worker both said chicken jus came out. It’s warm. I’m like OK give me that oh sorry no thighs just legs I was like no then give me fresh dropped, them they resfused! I left end of story. May need to clean house there!

The shift manager that was working was extremely rude and unprofessional at the window and while he was taking our order. Spent over $70 at this place just for half of the food be missing when I get home and to have been given attitude by someone supposed to be in management. Absolutely will not be coming back to this location again. I can spend a lot less for a lot better food and service at other places.

I ABSOLUTELY cannot believe that the extremely small mash potatoe cup of shrimp is actually a or suppose to be a 1/4 pound serving for $11.49 for a Reg. Combo. I have never gotten shrimp served Togo in a cup. (It was literally a mash potatoe serving size cup.)
It was always In a box and eat In was in a paper/cardboard boat type tray.
We got to 3 piece.strip boxes and one 1/4pound shrimp combo and it cost almost $39.00.
I felt like I was crapped on. I was so disappointed! DONT EAT AT POPEYES in LancasterSC..

Firstly,

Why are the doors locked at 9pm?

Why am I sitting in the drive through for 15 minutes when no vehicles ahead of me in the drive thru?

Lastly why are the only sides that are available- fries, slaw and mash potatoes an hour before close?

I asked for my food to be cooked fresh, the rude manager cuts me off and tells me they stop cooking food fresh at 9pm? Why is that? As a general manager your 1st priority should be your customers and making sure you are servicing fresh food at all times.

I will certainly not be returning to this location and will be putting in a complaint with corporate, please do better.

Worst service ever. Was told I would have a 14 minute wait but it took 32 minutes. If I wouldn’t have already paid I would have left, but they didn’t give me a receipt to dispute it later. I finally asked for one when I went back to ask how much longer on my food. Was missing pieces of chicken from the family meal and the large macaroni was not large at all they placed a small portion in a large cup. Restaurant looked dirty from the drive thru window. They had chairs in the food preparation area and employees were sitting down. There was so much more but it would take forever to list everything. The girl working was very obvious she hated her job and just didn’t want to work and she had zero shame to show it. I placed my order at 5:50 pm they didn’t give me my food until 6:25after I pulled back up to the window and asked how much longer. They had no customers in dinning room, no cars in the drive thru. I was the only person there for the first 15min then 1more person came. So they had a total of 2 customer in the 35 min i was waiting So there was no reason why it should have taken so long

Horrible service the african American woman working sat 15th at 11:45 am has an awful attitude. Made me pull back through the line to order a 25 cent sauce. No wonder Lancaster has such a bad reputation.
