I ordered Popeyes from the Iverson location in Temple Hills through DoorDash, and I’m honestly very disappointed. Something told me to check my red beans and rice before eating, and I’m glad I did—because it smelled just like spoiled milk. I went up to the store to let the manager know, but instead of genuine concern, I was met with a slight attitude as if the issue was my fault. He went to the back and made me a new one, but unfortunately, it smelled exactly the same as the first.
This makes me question the quality and freshness of the food being served here. If you’re planning to eat from this location, especially the red beans and rice, I highly recommend smelling it before you dig in. This experience really left me with no confidence in this Popeyes, and I hope management takes food safety more seriously moving forward.

I was hesitant to visit this location due to the reviews. While the exterior and entryway were visibly unclean, the inside of the restaurant was well maintained. It was a busy Sunday afternoon, but Marvella handled it exceptionally well. She’s clearly a hard worker who multitasks efficiently, keeping the line moving while preparing orders. My food was fresh, hit and tasted good. Thank you, Marvella and team!

Oh baby it’s “big box” time you better get yo chicken while it last. 2 pieces white or dark, biscuit, and 2 sides all for $6. Add a drink for an extra $1, this is the deal of the century but it only last until 11/24/24 then it’s gone, get off your cakes and get this fried chicken NOW. If you go go at dinner time when the lines are long but the chicken is HOT!!!!!! Luv dat chicken at Popeyes!!!

Terrible ! I really hate that my area has to be subdued to such effery. I ordered a chicken sandwich and wings and they gave me old hard wings and no sandwich the fries were old. I ordered two different flavors and they gave me what they thought k should have which was dry bones chicken . I had it Ubered and the entire order was wrong , I don’t drive which is why I couldn’t get it and I used my last to feed myself and kid. Which I could not because they played. If working in a food place is something you hate get out of there because I was raised on cooking food with love and it’s so much hate out here it’s in the food now ! It was very disheartening and disappointing having to send my child to bed with not the fullest of bellies when I paid to fill it up . I am beyond upset and I wish they close that place now and or revamp it . This whole area is full of bitterness and despair and you got people in the service industry handling the food . I love Popeyes and I am sad that this one sucks. ONE OF THE CHICKEN LOOKS LIKE GIZZARDS. Could be BECAUSE YOU CANT EVEN BITE INTO IT TO SEE!

I went there today and got a 4 piece dark meat, and my food was raw! My host was Daquan, and he was a sweetheart but my food was not done! Is was still pink!!! The staff acted as if they just didn’t want to work but the food was hot… Make it make sense!!! I will never go there again.

I REALLY wish i could give ZERO stars. My family and I just ordered here yesterday, 8/22/25 through door dash. We got the sweet and spicy boneless chicken and bbq boneless. Once we received our food the smell was FOUL, like the chicken was old and all they may have done was put sauce over it to try and cover up the odor. The moment I opened the container the smell was noticeable. We were not served FRESH food. I will NOT be ordering for this location again.

Do something about those street urchuns loitering in front of the store. They were high on drugs and one of them followed me into the establishment to harass me and stare me down. He’s lucky he had his boys with him or it would’ve been the worst day of his life.

Kind of slow because of Covid restrictions but it was the BEST Popeyes I had because of the quality of food. This store has been here forever and I love the new renovations they have made inside.

We had one person in line ahead of us, but waited 5 minutes to order. The soda machine had no ice and the workers made no effort to fill up the ice. However, the food was delicious. I ordered the new spicy chicken wrap. I was pleasantly surprised that it is served cold, and the pickle inside the wrap made it so good. I think it may have been regular and not spicy, because there was no spice detected. Overall, one of the better locations I’ve been to in the area.
