Ordered from a food delivery service that sponsors this place & they won’t post my review w pics so I cancelled my pass subscription. They stuff the desert in a too small container so the frosting/topper comes off w the lid when opening. The cheesecake looks like someone took a bite out of it & a finger was pressed in to the cheesecake. The chile relleno was soggy, served in a soupy something not sauce and looks nothing like the menu picture. The refried beans look puréed and have the texture of a puree. The other “specialty” was bland and the rice had no flavor. Every single thing was thrown in the trash uneaten. Do NOT waste your money!!!!

Absolutely delicious. Best birria I’ve ever had. Service was quick and efficient. Food was amazing and packaged neatly for transport. The restaurant was cute and had a good atmosphere. Not a lot of parking, but we picked up early afternoon (around 4pm), so it was quiet. Definitely one of the best authentic Mexican spots in Norfolk. I highly recommend.

Amazing authentic, fresh Mexican food!!! Recently moved to Norfolk and was in search of a go to Mexican food place and I found it!! Mi Tienda Hernandez has great quality meat, tacos and hot sauce!!! The elotes were delicious, the birria tacos were phenomenal and so were the steak tacos!! The owners were so kind and friendly, gave us some free sample of lengua, extra sauce for free and were lovely people to conversate with!! The food came out so fast and fresh! Will definitely be coming here a lot and sharing it with others!!

I have ate there numerous times and the food is always amazing but yesterday I had them make me a birthday cake for my daughter’s 18th birthday it was so good!! They also have so many neat items to buy things you can’t get anywhere else in Norfolk, And their sweet bread is to die for. And the employees are so nice and kind.

Friendly folks y’all, great products from fresh greens all the way to fresh gear I also noticed they have awesome chips and candy you can’t find nowhere else in town…and the owner is a chef and he be cooking some really good food. I recommend this place.

I have never been as shocked by food as I was today. I just got to Nebraska to visit family for the first time and I was doubting there was good Mexican food because I’m from Arizona and visit Mexico regularly. But this was even better than any food I’ve gotten from Mexico or Arizona, the birria tacos and cake was so phenomenal. 100/10

On a work trip and wanted some good tacos for dinner. This place is super clean, and well organized. The birria tacos were amazing! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cook came out and gave us a taco de cabeza to taste, my husband ate it in 2 bites!! Will remember to come back on my next trip!!
