Visited Dashery Café for breakfast today and honestly? Pretty underwhelming. The food was mediocre at best—I had a lox on an everything bagel and a latte, and neither one stood out. Not terrible, just completely forgettable. Like breakfast on autopilot.
Service? A little off. Not rude, but definitely not warm. No greetings, no smiles, no check-ins, no “How was everything?”—just a very flat, transactional vibe. You order at the counter, pick up your food yourself, and then… you’re hit with a tip screen. For what, exactly? The privilege of not being spoken to?
It’s the kind of place where you can tell no one’s having a bad day—they’re just not having any day. Zero energy, zero hospitality. Like brunch in grayscale.
Overall: It wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t good either. With so many better breakfast spots out there, I honestly don’t know if I’ll be back. Unless I suddenly crave silence, lukewarm lox, and awkward tipping.

DRUID HILL PARK Smoked turkey BLT with avocado and sun-dried tomato aioli on toasted multigrain bread | 16.00
Inside was really cute and modern at the same time. I think it is connected to the hotel so it was really clean and nice.
The cafe was really cute. Relatively small (max 30 ppl). I ordered strawberry matcha latte but it was different from what I had before from other store. I didnt see strawberry but i tasted strawberry which was very confusing to me.
My friend said cold brew was quite strong like she wanted the ice to melt for dilution.
I recommend if you are nearby here. Idk if I want to come here for the matcha latte but I will try different drinks with food next time.
The ladies behind the counter were both very friendly and helpful with making the order and explaining how the globalist breakfast benefit works.
The food itself was just OK. Drinks were good, but the toast and frittata were nothing too special.
