There are tvs throughout the restaurant. They had football, rodeo, golf, baseball etc.
There is a lot going on but the surroundings but it’s quiet so you can have a conversation.
The bar area gets lively during the games but it’s separate from the main dinning area.
I walked in at 8:58 and asked the bartender for a food menu. The bartender informed me that their kitchen close at 9 pm and she thought the kitchen had already wrapped up for the night. I asked if she could ask the cooks if I could get anything. Whatever was the fastest or easiest to cook. I watched her ask the kitchen staff as they laughed and said no. I would’ve been good with a salad…anything!! Technically I wasn’t even late. I find it a slap in the face that they wouldn’t allow any food to be purchased. I go out of my way to make my customers happy. Unfortunately for those cooks I think karma will return the favor.
have a sign up saying “please wait here to be seated”. We stood there, no one came.
So we walked up to the counter as it usually is.
My friend in front of me was helped by a rude blond girl. We both have the SLO eats app and they have a 2 for 1 deal. He ordered his tri-tip with garlic fries and walked away without saying a word. We had to figure out that the receipt which printed we were supposed to take. She forgot to put in the 2nd tri-tip.
I was behind him. She would walk up near the register then walk away, never asking if I wanted to order anything, or saying that she’ll be back or anything.
Once she finally showed up, I got my order in, she didn’t ask if I wanted fries or tots, she just put the order in. I asked for my burger to be medium rare, she said sure, took my payment and walked away without saying a word. No thanks for the order, no “anything else” no “do you want a drink”, nothing. Just walked away.
The burger was well done and the service was the worst I’ve had in a very very long time from anywhere.
When my friend’s 2nd tri-tip showed up she dropped it at the table and walked away saying nothing. So rude!
This place is crazy expensive $20 for basically anything, and the service was Terrible.
Don’t come here. There are much better places with friendly service and better food for less money.
I ordered medium rare.
It was overcooked.
The presentation was really nice as I asked it to be cut in 1/2.
The flavor was good. Not amazing but good.
For $19 for a burger, it should be amazing!
I’m sure I’ll be back in another 5 years or so, but it’s absolutely not a place which would pop up in my head to go to if I’m hungry. It WILL pop up in my head that it’s expensive though.
