First time eating Venezuelan food. The owner of this small eatery located in the parking lot of Ideal Supermarkets couldn’t have been nicer and more welcoming.
She recommended the arepa with the homemade maza made with chicharron. I ordered it with pernil (roasted pork), black beans, and cheese. I drank a delicious black coffee with it and got a teta (boyo for us Mexicans) made of guayaba. The teta is basically a fruit flavored ice treat in a bag. You rip the corner and eat it that way.
Food was delicious. The pernil was juicy and not dry. Every time I’m in Tampa (I’m a truck driver) I will return. Ty for the hospitality and delicious food. Estoy may agradecido.
