Holy moly let me tell you this is now my favorite Mexican food ever. Prices are great and the food is amazing. It is take out only but that is perfectly fine when you get food this good lol. We already started digging in before I got pictures and the quesodila that was ordered was gone before I got pictures lol. The nachos easily had a half a pound of meat on them. I’m stuffed and still half half my meal left. And if you look at the bad reviewers profile, they haven’t given a good review on anything. Almost all one stars, so just a typical complainer. You see way more 5 stars than anything because it is 5 stars.
****Update**** enjoyed it so much yesterday we went back today. 1st day I had the Birra nachos, day 2 I had the Birra tacos, the boyfriend got 1st day chicken quesodilla, 2nd day a steak quesodilla and both days we got tamales. Everyone in my house agrees the Birra is to die for. Tons of flavor. Salsa (I’ve had better) salsa Verde is amazing as well as their queso.

I wanted to like the food. I ordered 4 tamales , two chicken and two pork. I got 3 beef and he didnt bother to as me if I wanted something else. The cheese was very thin and seemed watered down. Never seen cheese so runny. The tamales were nothing but masa. Maybe a spoon full of meat in each. Very disappointing. I’ve bought tamales from people on the street that blow there’s away. The chips seemed stale. The salsa was OK. A little too much celenantro for my liking. Seemed very watery. I wanted to like the place but I know I will never go back and I would not recommend this place. There are two way better places in New Castle and they aren’t great.

I got delivery and my food was hot and tasted great. Additionally I accidentally overpaid the driver (two bills must have stuck together) and he returned the extra money when he realized. Great food better people.

Went and tried it out. Ordered a beef chimichanga and chicken one with beans and rice also. Asked for them to be extra crispy shells. They was not crispy and the shells was were not crispy at all. And didn’t receive my refried beans. Was disappointed.

I am really excited about this place! The delivery was free, food was still super hot when it got to me literally ten minutes after I ordered and it was all so good! The salsa verde is an absolute must with that ever you get.
Thank God there is a place in New Castle that is not just a go-to because it’s easy, but because it’s great!

As someone from south Louisiana who is surrounded by authentic Mexican cuisine, El Patio is the BEST Mexican food we’ve had up here. I’m a little upset we didn’t try it sooner. We had birria quesadilla, steak burrito, queso and guacamole. We ordered delivery. 10/10 recommend!
