Breakfast was okay at best. Very greasy. Picture is of their “Fat Potatoes”. Really just chopped up french fries.

This was an unpleasant experience. Once seated, waiter said to go get our own fountain drinks and coffee from the bar. While I was making my coffee at the bar, waiter comes up to me and asks what I to eat. I had barely looked at the menu, but ordered the breakfast sandwich anyway. Food came out pretty quick and then said where the napkins were if we wanted some. Didn’t offer anything else. At this point I noticed the tables around me were not bussed and there were only four other customers. Began eating my sandwich when I noticed fruit flies in my fruit. Yep! Even pointed them out to my coworker. Waiter never came back so I couldn’t tell him. Had to go to the counter for the check. I told him about the fruit flies and said he would give me his employee discount. He acknowledged the fruit flies, but would not take off the bill. It is apparent this place only has business due to it being the only big restaurant on this side of the terminal. Avoid this place if you can help it!!!

Fat Guys Burger Bar –Tulsa International Airport
Look, it’s airport food, so my expectations were already in the middle seat with no legroom. But those spicy fries? Baby, they understood the assignment. Crispy, seasoned, and giving Five Guys “bag-full-of-fries” energy. The buns on the burgers could definitely use a little help, but not too bad overall. The rest was cool for an airport grab-and-go, but those fries are the real MVP.

Food is not good at all! Burger was too salty and the bun was thick and crumbly. Definitely wished I had of dined elsewhere in the airport.

Not a lot of choices at the airport. This was one of the few locations opened.
Burger was cooked well done, which is fine. Lots of dressing options to customize your burger. Bun was so so. When you order lettuce I kinda expect more than what was served today.
Fries were burned. I got the spicy fries but it was hardly spicy. Maybe they meant seasoned fries?
Service was ok. They forgot my fry sauce but I didn’t care cause I ended up tossing the burned fries.
If other places were open, I’d likely try something else.

Obviously not even close to healthy, but so delicious! My long time favorite was the peanut butter bacon burger but today I didn’t feel like a burger. I saw the chipotle chicken sandwich. It wasn’t very spicy, but it had the best flavor… Possibly of any chicken sandwich I have had?! Definitely going to be hard to choose between this and the burger in the future! Jeremiah was my server and was very attentive!

For $24.82 for burger, fries and drinks are not good for the price. I was also sprayed with syrup and carbonated water from the Dr Pepper fountain, which ruined my clothes. After this happened, the server did not offer any help in cleaning up and left mess on the floor. I think I will not return next time to avoid being punked.

I waited to order for about 10 minutes, then a couple came in and Stacy came over and took their order. I waited another 5 minutes and kept looking over to Stacy. She finally came over and said “we’re out of everything on the one side of the menu.” She was very cold and acted like she didn’t want me there. She seemed to be polite to the couple, but not to me. She really acted like she hated me. I don’t know if it’s because I’m white and she’s black and she hates white people, but I felt really unwanted. So I left and came down to Chili’s. Chili’s was very welcoming.

On my sporadic trips through the Tulsa airport, this place has been the mainstay. The beer is airport-priced, but at least they’ve got local options. Fried burgers have been a hit, but I also like the chili cheese fries. Adding an egg for $1 is the best dollar you’ll spend here.
