In town from out of state and we were trying to find some fried chicken, kind of like a KFC sit-down fast food type place. Found this and drove 40 min out of our way to come here. Pulled up to find a sketchy little gas station with a ghetto looking building sharing the parking lot. We honestly couldn’t figure out where the chicken would be, but in the short time we were in the parking lot we got the overwhelming feeling of “lock the doors and get out of here.” Would have loved to try to food, but we never found it. There are a couple signs, but it’s anything but clear. It was the most sketchy moment we had in the week we spent in the area.

Save yourself a bellyache and pass this one by! I actually went out of my way to grab some Krispy Krunchy Chicken, as I have had it/enjoyed it on a few occasions at the Hayward Ca location. When I first walked in , I noticed there was only 5 or six pieces of chicken in the display case that looked a little dry and old. I thought that was odd, as the Hayward location I’d been to before always had a large quantity of fresh hot chicken. I asked if I could see a menu, as there was no menu posted inside the establishment. I was told the chicken was on sold by the piece and they did not offer any sides or dinner meals with it. Again, I thought that was kind of strange but decided to try it since I drove quite a bit out of my way. Big mistake. The chicken was super dry and tasted of old grease. The grease was so old, it had an almost fishy taste to it and the Chicken tasted a little expired in places ( a few bites almost made me gag). I ended up throwing my chicken in the garbage, as it was inedible. I spent the rest of the evening burping up the nasty tasting chicken I did consume. If I was an Krispy Krunchy Chicken franchisee, I would definitely take a look into this particular location, as It diminishes their brand name.

I’ve been coming here since for 20+ years. They have fried food like you would find in the south at a gas station. Always fresh, I get chicken and chimichanga every time. Lost surf paired up with a pie from Gizdich right down the street and you’re chilling.
