A group of 6 went here for lunch and had an excellent experience. The food and service were superb. The restaurant is right on the waterfront across the bay from downtown Seattle. The view was really beautiful. The highlight was when the two nesting bald eagles decided to fly by our window. I would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful dining experience. Our New Year’s Eve date night.
After a spicy Ceasar in the bar, we were seated in the dining room. Lovely waterview window table to start our evening. Our server, Dane, was super attentive without rushing us.
We shared a large slab salad known as a wedge salad at other places. The blue cheese dressing is really good here.
A must try offering was the fried Brussels sprouts that were prepared with a yummy sweet glaze that included pork shoulder pieces. Honestly, this is hands down the BEST Brussel sprout dish we’ve ever tasted. Large serving, so share it.
My husband’s filet mignon was cooked perfectly. It was as good as the Wagu beef we recently had. Flavorful and so tender. It was served with whipped mashed potatoes and fresh sauted green beans. I had a few bites and was full with the other we already consumed.
This experience was better than 5 stars. We highly recommend Salty’s at Alki.

Salty’s is a great dining experience. The exterior and interior decor are inviting. You then are seated through the open kitchen concept, which I like. You are then seated in the dining room, which looks out to the Seattle cityscape. The view is great both during the day and at night, which provides a fantastic atmosphere to your dining experience. We tried the Saltys appetizer combo, the shrimp, calamari and crab cake were all very tasty. The bread is also a good starter option. We tried the octopus and the salmon with crab. The dinners were very tasty and we enjoyed every bite. We have been here several times and always enjoy our time here. Get to this restaurant and you won’t regret it. Kudos to the friendly staff as well.

Salty’s used to be my favorite brunch in Seattle, or I would say, the best brunch in Seattle. But not anymore.

We used to have their brunch pre-Covid and each dishes were high quality. After they re-open the brunch post covid, they raised the price double with only 90mins dine in time. The food quality went downhill especially the prime ribs, very dry and tough. The only quality remains is their fresh oysters.

My daughter was looking forward for the chocolate fountain, but the chocolate didn’t crust up like it should be.

Our family of 9 were being seated outside (originally seated downstairs, but my mom cannot walk too much so they changed to upstairs outside) they said they cannot accommodate a group of 9 indoor for us even we made reservation noting that ahead of time. However we saw groups of more than 9 being seated inside during our brunch (also saw from some of the reviews)

We would not recommend Salty’s brunch to anyone. It is not worth the value for the quality of food they have.

We stopped to get dinner here on our last night in town after a trip to Mt. Rainier. The service was great, shout out to Nash for being a fantastic server and making great recommendations.

The views from the dining room of down town Seattle are beautiful and we even saw a few sea lions swim by.

Food was fantastic! We got the swordfish and the crab stuffed steelhead. Both meals were warm, fresh and so delicious! Fantastic spot for fresh seafood.

The view alone was worth it ! We reserved a table for six and in the reservation request I did ask for a seat with a view of the water in Seattle, I think we got one of the best tables in the restaurant. Took some amazing photos. If you’re going in for dinner, there is a different menu then the menu for the café or bar area which I think you can get great views from both. We went in for dinner party of six Aubrey was our waitress and she waited on us Constantly made sure to come refill our glasses several times and at the And we got two large slices of cake and celebration of our anniversary. My husband ordered the butchers block, which was a New York steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus, it was delicious. He got a beautiful drink in a totem pole type of cup. It was some type of berry something drink. I got fish and chips, also delicious. Very memorable experience great vibes. Our tab was about 150 before the tip. If you can’t afford the dinner experience, go sit at the café. They’ve got a different menu, which is more affordable more, bar food, but on the luxury side. Highly recommend for a date night or celebration of any sort. The lighting gives a very chill, relaxing ambience. The city is glowing beautifully across the water. The vibe was really cool. Everybody was friendly. We had an amazing time.

I don’t think I’ve ever had an experience like the one I had at Salty’s. When I booked the reservation, it asked for the occasion. It was an anniversary dinner with my spouse, since this was the first time we were getting out and doing something fun since we missed our last two anniversaries due to busy schedules the last few years. Most restaurants ask for the occasion, but I never expected the level of service we received. The entire staff signed a happy anniversary card, and arranged a special table for us that had a gorgeous window view of downtown. I’ve never had this level of service anywhere and Salty’s truly made us feel very special on our special day. The service was above and beyond, the food was just as good if not better, and the atmosphere was just incredible. I cannot begin to express how delicious the halibut special was, or even the little sharable desert they came out with at the end. Saltys was such a wonderful experience, I plan to return again next time I am in the area. ♡

Came in for dinner on Sunday night, made reservations for five people earlier in the day and were seated in a beautiful corner seat overlooking the city. The food was amazing, we had steak, oysters, halibut, and salmon. Everything was top tier. The service was impeccable and we felt very well taken care of.

The staff on Thanksgiving Day was phenomenal! I went with family to Salty’s buffet style night event. Seeing every member of the crew working there on that night, gave me more appreciation for what waiters & waitresses, cooks & chefs, managers & front end staff must go thru on busy nights. I took photos of most of the food on the serving tables when it got slower there. I was told they served over 1,000 customers from 3pm-7 or 8pm. It was SUPER busy and it showed! But the staff handled it better than expected, with little nervousness shown all night.

The food was fantastic with perfect seasoning and cook levels. The turkey was so moist and tasted nearly as good as homemade. The yams/sweet potatoes were good but I preferred the sweet carrots. I also had some of the seafood platter, which had such excellent attention given to it by whichever cook made it. The mac & cheese was so good that I couldn’t resist a 2nd & 3rd portion. The ham was good enough to melt in my mouth.

Once I got to dessert, the number of options was incredibly tough to decide on. The pumpkin flavored cake slices was my absolute favorite and the star of that section! But the red velvet cupcakes were a close 2nd place.

I wanted to take my leftovers home so that I could drop them off to some homeless folks, especially on that night of giving thanks. However, leftovers were not allowed on that night, which i can understand, since everyone woukd be trying to bring home extras for later. Still, it seemed so wasteful, on that night especially.

Our waiter had the best tableside manner and allowed us to be attended to with care and not overwhelming us with too frequent of visits. It was just right how he served our table.

Special thanks to the bar manager who helped me while I tried to figure out when my family would be seated, when I arrived. The front end staff was so busy that I didn’t want to disturb their flow they had going.

I ended up being lucky enough to meet the general manager and it gave staff the nicest compliments that I could think to convey. Hopefully those made it to the proper people who deserve the recognition. I did forget to compliment the oyster table, the ham station & the shrimp servers. Hopefully he reads this, so he can also know how great those folks were too.

I hope to be able to afford to visit for a meal on my own some day, as right now i cant even visit Wendy’s without trying to spend under $8 per meal.

Thanks to everyone at Salty’s who made my family feel welcome and appreciated all night long.

If my experience was how every customer feels when they visit Salty’s, then I imagine so many others would write such a positive review, if they had the time.

I think you’ll enjoy your time at Salty’s on Alki any day that you go in there!
