We dropped into this little pizzeria on William Street while visiting the old haunts. The place was terrific. We went during the week so parking wasn’t a problem. The atmospheric here was lovely, beautiful murals, great music (crooners from back in the day) and the pizza was delicious. The prices are reasonable and we bought a X-Large chicken rosemary and had enough for two meals. Tasted as good the next day as the first! Highly recommend and will be visiting again. Kudos is Liberty Brewery is situated just behind this little restaurant so we plan to combine a night out of brews with good food from Primavera!!

What happened? I’ve been coming hear for over a decade. I’ve recommended Primavera to hundreds of people. Now something has changed. I ordered a pizza with half tomato and half mushroom. You would think that would mean 4 slices of each, like EVERY OTHER restaurant does. What I had was 3 tomato, 3 mushroom, and 2 slices with both. This was absolutely lazy. With all of the competition around, you would think that they would pay attention. I also ordered some fried mushrooms. They were all smashed in the box, and the batter was undercooked leaving then all gummy.
Perhaps it’s time for Primavera to close their doors. If they can no longer provide a quality product, perhaps it’s time to but their losses.

Great pizza, friendly staff, what more can I say? If I’m going to nitpick, the interior is a little cheesy (pun intended), but it has a certain charm I guess. Ive only ever gotten take away, so it doesn’t bother me. The food is what matters and they do it well. This has become my go-to pizza spot (along with Benny’s) ever since the quality at Mellow Mushroom started to disappoint.

New England style pan pizza. Was one of the better pizzas I’ve had in Virginia. Places located on a downtown street corner in a cozy little corner. Overall prices were good. Service was quick atmosphere was friendly.

There is something charming about this pizza place the on corner in downtown Fredericksburg. The servers were friendly and helpful as we ordered. Between us, I I think ordered every vegetarian item on the menu. I had the veggie panini without dairy and it held its own without the mozzarella. The pizza and sandwiches left everyone happy.

We were driving back from DC and randomly found this place. This place blew our expectations. The food was outstanding, and Gavin our waiter, was the most attentive and kind waiter I’ve had in years. When we’re in the area will always come back. Cannot recommend more!

Picked up their 2 large pizzas with wings and a coke special. The pizza had pepperoni and onions and the other was cheese. I have finally found a place that puts the right amount of onion on a pizza…I am a fan. Hand tossed pizza was very good and the perfect traditional crust. The wings were wings, but were good. We will be back!

This food is extremely delicious and flavorful. I’m happy I found this hidden gem. Owners are very pleasant. Spaghetti sauce taste very fresh and wings were cooked perfect.

Not sure how this place has a 4.6 rating. The food is decent, with quality products, but needs seasoning. It’s also overpriced for what you get. We had to add salt and pepper to our hot subs. The salads were basic as basic gets. Iceberg lettuce? For a “downtown” restaurant? Come on, that’s so 1980s. Jazz it up a little.
But the service is what’s truly lacking. Nonchalant at best and they may treat you like you are annoying them if you ask for anything other than the basic menu items. This entitlement driven service is unbecoming. It should be considered a privilege for restaurants to serve customers, especially in this economy where many restaurants are struggling and/or closing. Do better by treating your customers with the respect and gratitude that reflects appreciation for their patronage not as if you’re doing them a favor by serving them.

**A Must-Visit Gem in Fredericksburg – Primavera Pizzeria!**
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Primavera in Fredericksburg, VA, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience that warrants all five stars!
The Pizza:
Where do I even start? Primavera crafts what is, hands down, the best pizza from Fredericksburg to Richmond. Every element of their pizza is perfection. The crust has that ideal balance of crunch and chewiness, the sauce is uniquely flavorful, setting itself apart with a taste you won’t find anywhere else. And the cheese? It melts in your mouth, blending perfectly with the toppings. If you’re a pizza lover like me, you owe it to yourself to try this masterpiece.
The Wings:
The buffalo wings deserve their own round of applause. They’re crispy, juicy, and coated in just the right amount of sauce. They’ve become our go-to appetizer for good reason – they’re simply top-notch.
