DK Crawfish in Alvin is a total hidden gem for anyone craving legit, flavor-packed seafood near Houston. I went in skeptical (it’s a food truck spot off Hwy 6), but walked out obsessed. Their garlic butter crawfish is straight-up perfection.
The crawfish themselves were plump, and super fresh and peeled like butter with almost no effort. But the real star is that garlic butter sauce. It’s rich, and loaded with real garlic flavor without being overpowering. They nail that perfect balance: buttery indulgence mixed with just the right kick of Cajun spice (I went medium spicy and it was spot-on—not too mild, not mouth-on-fire). Every bite had me licking my fingers and going back for more. The sauce clings beautifully to the tails and soaks into the potatoes and corn perfectly total flavor bomb.
Portions are generous, the crew is super friendly and quick, and the whole vibe feels authentic and welcoming. If you’re in the Houston area and love garlic butter crawfish, do yourself a favor and make the short drive to DK Crawfish. You won’t regret it—this is now my go-to spot for crawfish season. 10/10, highly recommend!

I didn’t think to take any pictures but that fried boudin was excellent! That means alot because my people are from Louisiana so I’m really picky when it comes to Boudin in Texas. The crawfish were tasty I just wish I would have gotten more spice but that’s on me. I will definitely visit again.

Ordered the Catfish plate, which included fries and hushpuppies. The fish pieces are good sized and fairly thick. Note that a lot of places normally use a cornmeal coating but this is more of a fried chicken style batter.
Also ordered the shrimp fried rice which my wife enjoyed.
Will have to come back to try their burgers and boiled seafood.

I’m a picky seafood eater and DK’s by far has been the best crawfish and more that I’ve ever ate at!! Usually don’t get full when I eat crawfish but this time I was STUFFED because of how many I ate!! Definitely recommend coming here if you’ve never been 10/10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gotta love googles rating system, this is a food truck. What kind of atmosphere do you think they’re going to have?
French fries were overly salty, but other than that tasted good; good texture. Next time I’ll ask for them to be extra crispy.
Flavor of the hamburger was very good and it was a fair size for the price.
