We recently hosted an anniversary party at The Kove, and I cannot say enough positive things about the experience. From start to finish, the service was truly exceptional. Kate, the banquet coordinator, was nothing short of amazing. Her attention to detail, responsiveness, and calming presence made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. Thank you, Kate, for putting me at ease and ensuring everything went off without a hitch.
Dennis, our bartender, was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and professional. Our guests had such great things to say about him and the rest of the staff, who were equally accommodating and kind.
The food was another highlight. Everything we served was delicious, but the standout dish was the stuffed flounder with crab—highly recommended if you’re planning an event here. To top it all off, the head chef personally came out to check in and make sure everything was to our satisfaction, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch.
I’ll admit I had some initial nerves due to the venue’s more traditional aesthetic, but any concerns I had quickly faded. Our guests were far more focused on the amazing service, food, and overall atmosphere.
I would absolutely host another event here without hesitation. Thank you again to the entire Kove team for making our event so special!

We were here New Year’s Eve a small gathering not to busy. We didn’t want a big event so it was just right for us. Music was good food was good we met some really nice people. Thank you to the Kove… Happy New Year ♥️ 2026

We have been going to the Kove a few times a month for several years. In the last year new owners took over and the place has steadily declined. The waitresses are fabulous, especially Phyllis and the food , although unpredictable, good. However, the male owner is rude and unprofessional. After his behavior last night, we won’t be back. Somehow the owner does not realize that regular diners that have not only supported the restaurant but recommended it to people who never knew about it should be treated at the very least decent. It’s a shame because we were planning our wedding reception at the Kove and will miss the staff. If you want to be ignored and treated awful by the owner, this is the place to go.

Great place for dinner or just to have some drinks at the bar. Everyone was so nice and our bartender was very tentative. We met Ozzy who is the manager and he took time out of his busy schedule to sit and chat with us. I also love the fact that everytime I ordered a drink I also got a fresh glass of water. If you haven’t tried this establishment out yet, you should. You won’t be disappointed.

If you’re in the mood for bad cocktails, this is the place. My party ordered Old Fashioneds, a Manhattan and a vodka martini. The Old Fashioneds and the Manhattan came out looking the same (bright red) and in the wrong glasses for the drinks. The martini came out in a tom collins glass. They all tasted terrible. I don’t know how a bartender, even a new bartender, could not get these right. And reading through older reviews this issue has been noted before. So why is management not watching what is being delivered to the tables and this is still happening? It is also insulting to think that the customers won’t notice the difference.
This used to be a solid spot for a nice cocktail and decent food. I would not recommend it. In the past, a Friday night was packed. Now there are plenty of empty tables and seats at the bar.
The bar food was fine.
Of note: Our server, Phyllis. She was efficient, friendly and helpful. She should get a raise for dealing with the inadequacies here.
Do better, Kove. Don’t call yourself a bar if you can’t make a standard cocktail.

My aunt just had an event at the kove recently, love how local it is. The manager, arial was awesome. She helped us with all of our specific needs and was responsive. It was overall a great experience, with great food and great service and I would recommend this venue to my friends and family. Definitely keeping this place in mind for future family gatherings!!

My visit to The Kove in Audubon, NJ was one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The manager was rude, dishonest, and even made inappropriate and sexually harassing remarks in front of my family, including my children. It was beyond unacceptable.
He was also yelling at his staff in plain view of customers and refused to let me speak to the owner, claiming that the “new owners are Indian and never come in because they have so much money they don’t need to be here.” The level of disrespect and arrogance was shocking.
My family owns La Scala’s Fire, so we know what good hospitality looks like — and this was the complete opposite. We came with a friend and our kids to celebrate her mom’s anniversary, and it was completely ruined by the manager’s behavior.
The food was terrible, the service was chaotic, and the overall atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable. Never again. Avoid this place at all costs. I plan on reporting it to the BBB the managers name was gozzy or oxy something like that

Bad experience for our party. If it could go wrong it did go wrong! Mixed drinks not as described – missing obvious ingredients totally altering taste – totally mixed up individual checks at the end of the meal – obvious questions like would you like to see the dessert tray or like another drink totally missed . Can only surmise new inexperienced server and bar tender. Bottom line – no – too many other excellent bar and restaurant choices in this for a friends get together! What happened to the reliable, personable staff that once were a signature of this place? Missed Tina working at the bar! Food only OK though the chicken parm did get a rave review!

Do not waste your time or hard earned money on this restaurant. Honestly, can’t review the food, because we waited for 40 minutes, then left. The manager told us that the “chef” needed 35 minutes to prepare the meal. Well, none of the tables around us had food so I don’t know how that was going to magically happen.
