We have been here many times and was always great, But last night Was the worst experience I’ve ever had there! We got seated right away ordered drinks and appetizers. When our calamari came out it was ok, Fried calamari and a marinara sauce (the sauce they used to have was delicious). Then about a hour in we got our salads my salad was soggy and the Parmesan must have been from the bottom of the bag or was that stuff that comes in a plastic bottle, made my salad taste very gritty. Then about a hour and a half our entrees came out, both ordered 16oz Ribeyes medium rare, ( I wanted the Prime Rib but they were out at 7:15) his truffle fries were cold to the touch upon arrival at the table and his steak was medium (not a huge deal he ate it anyways) my steak was Well done and very difficult to cut, so I asked if they could remake my steak to med rare. By the time my food was remade we were hitting the 2hour mark. And whet came out I can only describe as a steak that looked like a Turkey butt. I’ve never seen a $60 steak look and taste so badly. Our bill was over $260 closer to $300 with tip. I’m not sure what happened to this place they used to be so amazing! And it seems that the over all quality has gone down hill drastically. The steaks used to be tender and thick and now they are oddly shaped and very tough. Not sure if they are trying to save money by cutting quality but we were incredibly disappointed especially for spending $300
We had a couple of old fashion drinks with dinner…they were made with Jim beam and everything was muddled in the bottom including the orange and cherry I wasn’t a huge fan of them being made that way just all and all a very disappointing experience.

For starters, the style and decor of this restaurant is perfect! The tin ceilings and those massive sliding wood doors are so beautiful. Secondly, the food was presented nicely and it tasted amazing. I had the sirloin steak, garlic mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. Delicious. The whole meal was made even better by the kind and friendly staff. You should definitely stop in and visit. You will not be disappointed.

We were staying in town visiting from Vancouver, Washington. We like to eat at local restaurants rather than a chain establishment. Being in beef country, we asked around where we could get a good steak dinner, time and time agin the Cedar Room was mentioned. We entered and were greeted by very friendly staff and taken right to a table. The inside of the restaurant was so nice and inviting. Turns out it was remodeled by the owner when he bought the place several years back. We started off with delicious onion rings and drinks I asked our server what they were famous for, she replied “Well our chicken fried steak is a favorite”. Being my favorite meal and having tried countless variations over the years, including my favorite receipt cooked by my mom, well…sorry mom, the Cedar Room is now in first place. It was absolutely the best I have ever had. My wife tried the steak medallions and loved the flavor. Each of the kids got there own steaks. Everything was cooked to perfections and tasted fantastic. We finished off our meals with homemade deserts. This place is fantastic. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

Rain was amazing, made us feel welcome and was quite charming. We had steak medallions and the bacon burger. So delicious. Burger was juicy, bacon perfectly crisp but still meaty. Veggie toppings were fresh and generous. Steak medallions flavorful, medium rare, sauce was delicious. Very pleasant experience. Beef always tastes better in Nebraska and The Cedar room did not disappoint.

This place is outstanding.. from the food, to the atmosphere. Greeted as we entered the door. Our server Jordan T was excellent. Very professional and friendly. The crab cakes are the best I have come across in the Midwest. Food was hot and delicious.

Had the sword fish which was excellent. But the chicken club was just okay. Essentially a chicken sandwich. Did not care for the bacon relish. A club is classic. This was not. Atmosphere and wait staff are perfect. I will return and try something different.

From Minnesota passing through. We were surprised to get such generous size steaks in comparison to what we get at Mn steak restaurants. Very tender and delicious. Happy we stopped by. Also loved the way the place looked. The service was great.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise. This restaurant was recommended to me by the front staff at the Holiday Inn Express. I asked for a locally owned steak restaurant. The food was excellent, the staff were extremely friendly and the location had a lot of enjoyable ambiance. I chose the special ribeye with bacon and green beans along with the charcuterie board as a starter. As a bonus, the bar has a wide wine and whiskey selection. Enjoy a hearty meal.

Had an awesome dinner at The Cedar Room. Started with the Brussels sprouts two ways (dangerously good) and French onion soup that absolutely delivered.
The 16oz ribeye was cooked perfectly with great flavor and char, and the cowboy calamari was crispy, tender, and hard to stop eating. Paired the steak with The Prisoner Cab, which was basically made for this meal.
Great food, great vibe, and the kind of place that makes you slow down and enjoy dinner. We’ll definitely be back — possibly sooner than planned.
